Outside of kongregate.com and their app publishing, we've had two products:
* Kartridge
* Kongregate.io
What do you think Kongregate's next **new** product should be?

they should partner with one of the flash emulator projects and use their website to host an emulator since they already have the permission to host thousands of games. they keep pushing that gay shit with kartridge and the IO site when people dont want gay shit; they just want an uncomplicated website to play free games on.

the popular web name and compilation of games are wasted capital that could have given them the dominant position in the 'free online games' market. now multiplayer IO games are the new emerging gaming trend with the caviat that most IO devs opt to have their games put on independant websites because its simpler to host that way; instead of making it easier for IO devs to host games on kongregate.io, kong opted for a "more of that gay shit" approach and now gets to enjoy brand name obsolescence as they fail in both the legacy flash game department and the emerging IO game department.

I don't think there is a popular web name anymore, all the good will has bled out and even recognition is going to be a lot to ask. That means kong.io will (if it's ever finished) come across as a weirdo newbie to itch.io's turf with worse selection, worse prices (that's a guarantee when they make you buy site currency from a third party; the third party wants to profit too) and those charming NFTs that people actually loathe as just another bitcoin scam. With that blotch on the record and Kartridge a complete hash job-it's still out there attracting people to buy flash games that no power on earth will make work for them-any potential angel investor is going to have to be one that doesn't do their independent research or they'll flee faster than cheetahs from a grass fire.
In other words, I think Kong's next product should be to continue working their vampiric app store offerings. Keep them looking fresh so the people with too much money will remain happy to throw it away just to go from 30th to 5th in the global rankings of a competition that won't matter the day after it ends and will be replaced with a new one next week.

Kongregate should open a restaurant, because I would at least like to be wined and dined before I'm screwed by them.

Multi-Platform Games Launcher. Single platform (like kongregate or kong) with simple interface (like steam) that works on various devices (web, pc, mobile).
How would it work:
* Website - games in html5 (web technology); kongregate.com as front and games.kongregate.com as "client"
* PC Kartridge - native and html games; launcher working on electron (flexible and easy to update)
* PC Progressive Web App (PWA) - works like website "client" version but can also work offline (using installed web browser); run games in html5; https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Progressive_web_apps/Introduction
* Mobile - similar to PC PWA; I think pwa on mobile can use external payment system
I think there's many advantages, e.g.:
* single game (in html5) on 3 different platforms (web, pc, mobile)
* Kartridge can run native and html5 games
* same account (with same "wallet" - e.g. kreds)
* all "clients" can show ads and have the same payment system
* same game session (solving problems with game saves)
* games developers can focus on "single" technology (html5; unity3d -> web)
* kongregate developers can focus on "single" client
* "simple" integration of crypto, nft, MetaMask etc. ("simple" as simpler than implementing in native tech)
