Understandable, maybe just hope this is temp until they get all this fixed. Would prefer if they have BotDs as non-flash games until it's 100% fixed, and hence have Kongpanians, even if it's repated very oftern. Although they may have sacked many of their staff, and perhaps this could be perm?

Over on another thread specific to this week's MIA kongpanion (https://www.kongregate.com/forums/1-kongregate/topics/1934072-no-kongpanion), it sounded like the normal list was there, and probably had a kongpanion to go with it. So, I'm expecting and hoping that this is just a temporary outage of the kongpanion and the list of badges, though I can't be sure.

Has Kong made an offcial response on Kongpanions? I'm not seeing anything. Also, is there an up-to-date tally for the total kongpanion master badge owners? Last I checked it was like 700+ people with all shinys, but that was years ago. It would be nice to get a final tally. I have all shiny's, other than going to work it's the only thing I never forgot to do in the last 6+ years. Had a few close calls when my internet was out and I had to go to a friends house to get them and one where I woke up with only 2 minutes before weekly reset lol. I'd probably still come here daily even without kongpanions because the occasional good game I've yet to play in the BoTD list, most recent being this litte gem [Loot Loop Loot.](https://www.kongregate.com/games/PeachTreeOath/loot-loop-loot) I've been coming here since 2011 I'm sad to see the site failing. With Flash no longer recieving uppdates as of Dec 31, 2020 kong could only allow new devs on that use engines like Unity, but they've already decided to not allow new games as we all know. I had a feeling when they came out with Kartridge it was a last ditch effort to stay afloat, but that game launcher market is already flooded with huge corperations and they have little chance to compete in it, not even going to mention mobile. I still think there's a market for browser gaming as I play on every platform there is yet I still come here every day. Well I'm still rooting for you Kongregate no matter how the future pans out. Thanks for giving us a place to come and play games and meet new friends. On kong I've been married twice (in a game), ran a top guild with over 140 members at it's peak, won a competition for money (kreds), beat a hundred+ games and even got 1st place in the world on two game leaderboards and one in-game leaderboard (probably not 1st now). In otherwords some of my biggest highlights as a life long gamer happened here and I appreciate that. Thanks for the memories!

I've got good news, everyone! The kongpanion is back! It appears that the badges are correct, too: I've got a blue checkmark for yesterday and for today, from getting BotD.

 All that's left is actual awarding of the Kongpanion...

**Kongpanions 2 Ideas** 1 What about "Time on Game" for BotD Instead of veriety of Quests, then no problem if unable to send data as with SuperNova. 2 Also What about BftW (badges for this week) instead of BotD to allow people to get them all on a day that works for them that week.

The admins want your visiting this site as part of your daily routine. So changing the frequency from daily to weekly is probably not consistant with what they want.
