> My text got deleted here, sorry, I meant to post that some of you may be vastly underestimating how much I suck at some types of games. :p I definitely played Psycho and Cal's for more than 5 minutes each, probably on my main account. You can look at the API and laugh at me ;p
I gave my game to my 60 years old mother that never ever plays video games (except for solitaire) and she got a higher score than 5 in less than a minute. I used her lack of skills to calibrate the difficulty to be sure that everyone can get at least 10 points. I have no idea what were you doing as a judge if you can't even beat a 60 years old woman that can't even start a computer by herself and has a trouble using a mouse.
The effect is that there are 5 games featured on the main page with the rating of 2 and 3 random games not even related in any way to the game jam just to fill the space instead of like adding 3 games with the highest rating that didn't win anything. IMHO the level of laziness/stupidity in this is beyond everything.

Psycho345: I would normally hide your post, as it contains hostile and rude accusations, but I want to leave it up so that this response has some context.
All of the game jam's judges were volunteer judges, giving their time to help give the judge's panel a greater breadth of knowledge, taste, and experiences so that we could give the most fair judgments possible. Several of us were playing these games on our days off or stayed late just to make sure we gave every game a chance to shine, and to call us stupid or imply that we've been lazy about playing these games is, quite frankly, insulting. We are a diverse team of different skill levels who come together each day and work here because we love games and want others to enjoy them too.
On top of that, the category on the front page was to highlight the game jam winners, which is precisely what we did. I'm sorry that you feel that your game is underappreciated, but that is no reason to insult us or our work.

These awards. Go down your profile page, look on the right of the activity feed and click the "Awards" tab next to Kongpanions.

Isn't there a participator award this time? Or was my game disqualified for some reason?
