Thanks for sharing this image about the deploy troops timers. We are already aware of those annoying number formats there and its already on our to-do list, so hopefully we can focus on it soon.
Sorry roxxon, bad communication on my part. The formating is just one of those things but I thought the 28 years to 10% was amusing in relation to late game slow down. While I am here, how about resetting the cost of extra fuel to a base level each day? Currently, it quickly becomes too expensive and a reset would give people more play time.
We're working on finishing CvC specs this week, thereafter we will be focusing 2-3 weeks on major balancing updates in WZ and BC that will address lategame especially.
Resetting fuel costs daily completely is not something I'd immediately like us to do, but might be one of those ideas in the right direction, when we get to looking into ways of possibly giving out more fuel. It's a touchy subject, as we don't want to give out "too much fuel" as we think it'd deteriorate the experience for most players or "force them" to play/click for hours, which is not somethnig we'd like to do.
There's things we want to consider here, but I'm afraid it won't hit our priority list for the next mont hat least, as we have a packed schedule :/

..and also changed how Time Warps work – now when bought or won (via activity rewards or daily tasks) they will be added to “storage”, which you can then use at any time from Boot Camp (buttons shows up next to convert when time warps are available). This should make it far more convenient to use at will for you!

Hey everyone,
Next week we have one of the most anticipated and needed set of updates coming up – major balance and progression improvements! These will address many issues where users are not getting a great experience, as the game is too slow, or feels imbalanced, and just simply the numbers don't seem as fine tuned as they could be.
In short, we will mainly be addressing privatization boosts, upgrades in Boot Camp, unit strengths in War Zone, War Zone upgrade costs, achievement/level/rank rewards and some other tid bits.
As the game is live with thousands of players it is imperative to us that we do these changes in such a manner that it doesn't ruin your experience at any point, for anyone – i.e. That you'd have significantly slower progression after the update. So worry not about that, as one of the reasons why this is taking so long is due to us preparing tons of test accounts at various points, to ensure we don't degrade the experience, but improve it!
The updates will be rolled out in a few sets, starting with privatization boost changes and/or vast upgrades' multipliers improvements and addition of new in Boot Camp, especially at late game – this first set will be rolled out Monday/Tuesday next week! While we will publish more specific changes as they are rolled out, here is a quick summary of what we'll be doing and why:
As War Clicks has been out for almost 2 years and had some major reworks in the past, we on the way came to face some issues with making some balance changes for newer users and also ran some tests of what feels best to most players. This process unfortunately resulted in some numbers/multiplicators being different for a few sets of players (specifically a different privatization multiplier on warclicks.com and for example different set of BC upgrades on Kongregate). And whilst these differences had their pros and cons and overall kept things quite similar between the „versions“, it still caused some offsets between different users. Which not only made things slightly different for some users, it also ended up making balance changes A LOT harder for us, as we always had to consider 2-3 groups of different users and ensure that any progression changes didn't affect any group negatively.
So we wanted to properly take time for this balancing and take the best from all these differences to not only give EVERYONE (on all platforms/versions) the best experience but also ensure that we can do any future balancing much more quickly and better!
The most clear example of this issue is the privatization multiplier, which varies from 1.02 to 1.05 between a few sets of users/platforms. Note that these are currently offset with higher upgrade multipliers in cases of a lower privatization MX, which we found out creates a much better, more enjoyable and a more controllable progression curve (giving us the option to keep the experience great at all game stages).
This will be one of the main changes, as we will be unifying privatization multiplier to 1.025 for everyone! Specifically for Kongregate users this means that privatizations will give a bigger punch, especially at late game, while for WarClicks/ArmorGames users this means that their privatization multiplier will take a big hit. HOWEVER, Kongregate's much better set of upgrades will be joined over to WC/AG , which will make up for the loss in privatization multiplier.
Moreover, additional upgrade multipliers will be added, as well as new upgrades at later stages of the game, extending exciting and fun progression further into the game FOR EVERYONE! In short, everyone will now have the same progression and upgrades, and most importantly – progression speed will be increased for all at the most stagnant game points!
This privatization MX and BC upgrades improvement and unification is one of the biggest challenges we had to face, and once done it will set up a baseline for all following balance changes, which will be deployed in days following this update!
So starting Monday/Tuesday expect your production to increase in Boot Camp and those players at the top of the curve expect a ton of new upgrades to be added ;)
*Note: For a very small player sample it is possible that immediately after the update will be deployed you might see a slightly slower production speed, but after buying a few upgrades (more or less immediately as some upgrade order will be switched at late game) your production will definitely be higher than before.
Following Tuesday, we will be then rolling out other various balancing changes in the following days, mainly regarding War Zone. These will mostly be increases in speed and improvements in experience at later stages of War Zone.
On top of all these balancing improvements, once our Country vs Country feature is complete (estimated at end of November) it will tie into progression of both Boot Camp and War Zone and help resolve some of the major issues the game currently has: not being able to produce enough support losses to keep up, making “long deploys” and privatization more valuable, losing less units in PvPs/Boss fights.
So don't expect the balance updates in the following 2 weeks to resolve every single thing – they will be the backbone of the progression improvements, but there's a bigger picture we have to have in mind with upcoming CvC that will tie awesomely into some of the remaining Boot Camp and War Zone issues ;)

During the weekend **we've pushed another set of progression changes**, this time mainly touching War Zone experience, especially in late game.
*To make sure you are seeing everything properly and to avoid any issues we suggest refreshing the game if you see this message while playing.
**In short, things that were changed:**
- Boss battles at late stages (from battle 1030) were increased in health to scale better, be more challenging and give a better experience.
- Level and Rank Battle Stars rewards were significantly increased to stay more on-par with Battle star rewards from battles
- Achievement rewards were significantly increased
- Additional upgrade tiers added to DPC HQ upgrades, to keep low level upgrades more up to par, as well as to slightly reduce over-reliance on support units for DPC at late stages. Similarly some price multipliers were reduced for a few upgrades late game.
- 2 more renown titles and 2 more ranks were added at late stages.
We hope you enjoy the changes – we will be touching more balancing issues when Country vs. Country feature (CvC) is released in the following weeks, as rewards from there will feed back into War Zone and Boot Camp :)

**Getting rid of a bunch of annoyances!**
In November we are focusing our updates on improving existing content - getting rid of annoying things, bugs, optimizations....
**To start off, we've just deployed this set of updates:**
**Automation changes:**
- Credit Cost for Buying units and upgrades reduced from 5 to 2.
- Credit cost for deploying reduced from 50 to 10
- Improved some case where automation revert was a false negative trigger
- Increased automation credits giveaway – some increases were done on the early upgrades, and a bunch of them added to the very very late game. All of these apply already, but if you've reached the 4th+ Boot Camp, make sure to check for a few new ones!
**Daily Mission changes:**
- Skips increased from 1 to 3 daily <- this will help you get rid of a few annoying missions for you, but allow us to keep all mission types and expand to new ones and keep variety!
- Skips also renamed to “change” as it was confusing for some
- Added a note about how many dynamic missions you completed today
- Daily reset will now ALWAYS grant 1 Spin The Wheel chance and 5 Time Challenge chances if you visit the game that day. Before, you wouldn't get SPW if you had any, and only got your TCs refreshed up to 5 available.
**Added a new research upgrade – Faster Time Challenge Clicks!**
This is a super cheap upgrade, with which you essentially remove the repeatability/click madness of completing time challenges. This feature might be fun a few times, but just becomes a grind/torture, so now you can cheaply upgrade TC to be completable even with a single click!
- Fixed a bug where automation panel could sometimes show up/remain visible in War Zone
- Fixed a bug where getting TC chances from promo codes or daily missions would not properly refresh the button if you've already used up all of your chances, giving you appearance of it not being added.
- Made several optimizations to various Country HQ calculations, that should help improve loading times of opening Country HQ and its sub screens.
**Tomorrow we will try to deploy another smaller update:**
- Find & fix a bug where research items sometimes disappear, without refunding research points
- Changing unused automation credits to (indefinitely) rollover to the next day
**Badges caps, WZ tiers, Profiles Updated,...**
* A 20k x production MX cap has been put in place on badges. Players who reach is (noone yet) will no be excluded from Score and Level competitions to give place to others and prevent “Power Creep”, and instead be feature in a Veterans competitions, where they will receive 1000 gold for each of these competitions!
* In profile you can now clearly see your total badge multipliers, as well as a much clearer display of your badges!
* WZ tier multiplier were rebalanced, and will now properly scale up to the e50 cost.
* In competition details tabs for “Veterans” have been added, where those who have reached the badge cap will be featured.
**Upcoming updates:**
* we are still monitoring activity of some potential over-script abusers in Boot Camp, and considering solutions to improve/limit that.
* While WZ tiers have been rebalanced, at the very late stages even this ~xe7 increased in their DPC is outdwarfed by support units DPC. The tiers will further be rebalanced up to the e100 costs, as well in April we intend to release an update that will further reduce the over-reliance on support units. This will likely be in the form of research upgrades, which will give big multipliers to base DPC from Ranks, Levels and HQ upgrades!
* For the time being we are not yet increasing new competition badge rewards, but will consider doing that in the coming weeks, as proposed in our previous update.
By the end of March we will present you with a more comprehensive plan for updates in April, the above ones are just some of those we will be doing :)

We're happy to let you know that we intend to do more updates in April than in recent months, here is a quick recap of the main things we will be working on:
- On top of the quarantine boosts, **there will be a short event around Easter- We will be removing video ads completely**. X2 production boost from video ads will be replaced and now received simply by claiming the day's activity rewards -> you will get this on top of any existing rewards. Gold & fuel rewards from War Zone ads, will be added to activity rewards as well. Exact details of how activity rewards will be changed we don't have yet, but** you will still receive everything you otherwise received via ads.**
- **Adding at least some of the following as research upgrades** (which ones and how many of them exactly, depends on time available) : WZ HQ upgrades/rank/level multipliers, Let users finish Country Invasions with 1 click, removing fuel overflow on x2/x3 DPC, faster research times...
- **re-balance WZ HQ upgrades tiers further** (Above e50 cost)- After much deliberation, we will not be doing a “full Country HQ rework”, as changing existing content drastically gets very mixed response from our players. There is no simple solution to various current issues that would satisfy everyone and also be relatively easy/quick to build and something we could afford at this moment. **We will instead be looking into several ways to improve the current structure, balance and rewards. We will also look into some potential ways to change/adjust countries.** As always, if you have any ideas/thoughts on this, we have a whole discord channel dedicated to this topic here:

- We'll be looking into **some PvP improvements**, at the very least some quality of life changes, to make decisions on who to attack easier
- **Look into other minor changes/bugs**, just to name some: Give a notification if you have any PvP points to spend, adding extra late-game goals, resolving some e308 bugs...We will focus on first getting as many of the smaller updates ready, and try to save as much as time as possible for doing Country HQ improvements.
Most of these updates will be released in one bigger update, most probably during 20th-30th April, but some of the smaller ones (and any bugfixes), will be released as soon as possible!
