These are some frequently asked questions we've received since the launch of the game. This post will be updated over time.
Of course, we can't expect to answer every question here - that's what the forums are for!
*Be sure to let us know if you find an inaccuracy, or outdated FAQ answer.*
**Q. Which class should I unlock first?**
A. There is no wrong answer to this, however for optimal performance, the general concensus is that you go for Shaman or Warlock first... but feel free to break the mold and play how you like as the end result will still be the same.
**Q. How do I consume stuff?**
A. Right-click.
**Q. Do achievements give you anything?**
A. They do, but you have to buy the Achievement Upgrades first from the Taco Shop. We recommend that you save your Tacos for them.(edited)
**Q. Can I join a guild?**
A. The game isn't a real MMO and the guild system isn't real too. So no, you can't join another player's guild. You create your own guild and recruit NPCs as your "Guildies" or guildmates. Each Guildie has a different class and skill level, which gives you different buffs and buff strength. Guildies can be added as a party member, and they increase your QS while providing you with extra buffs. NPC Guildies sometimes go offline like we do, so keep an eye on your party. Your Alts are also registered as guild members, but they have higher skill levels than any Guildie and will never go offline.
**Q. How do I get more tacos? What should I use my tacos :taco: on? **
A. Mages increase the chances of acquiring tacos from quests only. Their effects are fairly minimal though. You can also go and hunt for chests, which appear in certain time intervals, and guarantee you one taco each (Ghost chests give you 3 tacos each). Very rarely, the taco truck :taco_truck: crosses the screen and gives you tacos by clicking on it (max taco base is 5, upgradable to 10)
It is recommended that you save first for the two Achievement Upgrades, then acquire the Taco Truck upgrade or any of the permanent _ Anywhere upgrades. The Cilantroll buff is a good one too
**Q. Is there a way to transfer items from a character to another character?**
A. Yes. You can use the bank :bank: to store items, and it is accessible by any character. Items in the bank can be taken in and out of the bank at any time and can't be sold by pressing the vendor trash button, but can still be sold manually and in the auction house (be careful!). You are also able to use consumables in the bank. You usually store your combinable pieces there.
**Q. How does combining work?**
A. Once you have the Combinables upgrade, you will start receiving bags with a "C" on them. These are all parts of different sets and to figure out which items go together, look at the name and numbers next to them. For example, Locked Jewel Encrusted Egg 1/6 means that it is part 1 of a 6 part set. You will need to drag and drop all 6 parts to the right side boxes after hitting the combine button. If the combine button does not light up with the items you added, then it is not a valid recipe and you will need to try a different combination.
**Q. What are the different types of gear? Anything else I should know?**
A. There are 4 different types of gear: Common (white), Uncommon (green), Rare (blue), and Epic (it's actually purple, but a lot of people say it looks like pink).
Everything above Common is considered as Magic Gear, while Epics are the only ones that gives you extra stats and buffs. Epic buffs and stats are applied to the party, so if one of your Alts have epic gear equipped, the extra stats will be applied to your current character as well.
Crafted gear are also sold for way less than acquired gear. You can only craft helmets, chests, and weapons.
**Q. The vend button isn't selling my gear! Is this a bug?**
A. This is because the gear is better than what you are currently wearing. This also applies to gear carrying over when you prestige.
**Q. My characters are so slow! How can I go faster?**
A. As you level up you will gain access to various things that can improve your QS (Questing Speed). Certain classes also help with speed improvements. There are also consumable items obtained from different places which can also give you a boost.
**Q. What's gold for? When can I use it?**
A. Level Up a little more and the "Upgrades" option will unlock. A few more levels and the Auction House and the Mods will open too. These options will let you use your gold to obtain upgrades and buffs that will help you during grinding and idling.(edited)
**Q. How can I progress in this game faster?**
A. This is the more detailed version of "My characters are so slow! How can I go faster?".
* Using Buff Giving Items - There are items in-game called "Consumables" which gives you buffs for a certain time period, all with differing effects. They can be combined or bought from the Auction House or Taco Shop. These buffs stack with each other (Auction House items do not stack with each other though), but you can not repeatedly use an item to elongate the duration of a buff.
* Party Composition - Once you unlock the Guild Option, you can recruit additional Guildies and have them join you in a party. Guildies come in different classes and skill levels, which means that they give different buffs and buff strength (see Guilds below for more info). You can also unlock dual boxing in the Real Life Shop, which will allow you to use a previously unlocked character to join you in your party. These "Alts" join your guild, so you add them to your party just like you would with a Guildie. You must reach level 60 in your first character before unlocking dual-boxing, and you can have a temporary maximum of 5 party members.
* Crafting and Acquiring better Gear - Equipping better gear will enhance your Gear Score (GS), and with a higher GS, you can get a higher Questing Speed (QS). The QS enhancement from your GS scales per level, so if you equip lower level gear, you get lower QS. You can obtain better gear by crafting or farming them from quests and some chests.(edited)
**Q. What is prestige? Do I lose anything if I prestige?**
A. You prestige when you reach 60 levels in all 10 characters/classes. Prestiging gives +3 skill to all your characters, and makes the game a little bit harder. You do not lose gold, upgrades, mods, items, etc. You do lose your levels and your gear gets unequipped, but all your characters stay unlocked and all their items will stay in their respective bags.
**Q. I'm not getting the combinable/item that I want. Is this a bug?**
A. Probably not. Item drops are all up to RNGesus, and Paladins can help you get those combinables a little bit faster. You may be just unlucky. Sometimes however, those items you've been grinding for for ages are stuck in one of your previous character's bags. Check on all of your previous characters, since bag items are not shared among your Alts. Otherwise, keep farming. May RNGesus bless us all.

Had I to start again, I would make my classes in order of how I would level them every prestige. This way I could level them top down, as it is, I have to think about what bonus is best every time.
****** Caution, the following may contain spoilers.
With that in mind, I would go
1. Ranger - Once your quest completion and DPS is high from everything else, character speed is best bonus.
2. Warlock - Leveling
3. Priest - money and quest speed
4. Monk - Green chests = fastest leveling (but requires active play)
5. Rogue - Pure gold
6&7. Paladin and mage - depending on need of active money or tacos
8&9. Druid and Shaman - both semi useless
This won't get you the fastest start, but will make prestiging less of a thinker.

Before prestige I would recommend Warrior > Warlock > Rogue > Druid > Shaman/Monk (Depending on afk or active play) > Paladin > Mage > Priest > Ranger
The thing is about this game is that the upgrades in each area are actually worth thinking about, like I grabbed the extra monitors over the faster Eating/Sleeping/Work because they were already pretty quick. Some of the mods can be passed over for a while until they are just so cheap that it's like yeah ok lets get it.
After prestige I would recommend Warlock > Rogue > Paladin > Warrior > Shaman/Monk > Druid > Mage > Priest > Ranger
With a party of Active Character, Warlock, Rogue, Paladin, Warrior, Druid - If any of the other party members is active throw in Shaman
Reason for this is I recommend getting the warrior food bonus after unlocking the story with the decoder. You'll get more than 50% shaman bonus with the combinable foods and those last for 15 minutes, On my third run I make more than 1 mil gold in the 3 hours it takes for the best auction food and warrior buffs that as well.
I am thinking about dropping druid for priest since my speed bonus now is so high the collection negative is barely a hit. I'm also keeping the collection rate at 20% which reduces it even further.
