First place: Blac - Enzee Prod
Second Place: Shadow Assasin - Plo098
Most creative use of theme: SS-501 - Clearline Games
blac was very creative in the way you interacted with the game. just all around the best game in my opinion. nice use of the theme too, it fit the story being told.
Shadow assasin, while cool in concept, felt confusing and clunky to control. I kept getting caught and I didn't feel like I had anything to do about it. I liked the art though.
SS-501 had a great atmosphere, best use of the theme yet, but like the creator said, was unfinished. I wasn't sure how to use the various tools.
dark streets needs more. more feedback when I hit a player, more things and ways for me to play, reasons to use anything but spamming the second attack until I win.

I am so impressed by Blac, it's in a league of its own. If I created this game myself, I wouldn't mind dying because I just created a masterpiece.
Shadow Assassin has very creative treatment of the abilities, I like how the limitations in the abilities forced me to think about navigation in a complete different way and gave me a new stealth game experience.
Dark Streets is very familiar to the type of combat based games that I enjoy playing. I like how the start and end screen wraps the gameplay into a full experience. The characters also remind me of Xin Zhao vs Darius, for a moment I thought I'm playing League of Legends! It's also a cool theme to fight with polearm and axe on a city rooftop.

SS-501's an interesting take on the theme. Also while not strictly noir (might be talking out of my butt, but noir to me is like Casablanca or old timey detective named Dick Gumshoe), it has some Cold War vibes that I really like. The various tools can be explained better and maybe different upgrades or enemies can be introduced, but it's a pretty good start.
Similar to YehudaEdelstein's review, Shadow Assassin has a cool concept but the execution could use a little tweaking. Using the rope has a slight delay and even in the tutorial, it's not really clear where the rope is aimed at. It's also not explained that hiding can teleport you past certain obstacles.
Dark Streets also looks like a promising start, similar to the mobile game Shadow Fight, but I didn't see much of a challenge excepting mashing the attack buttons.

Even though Blac didn't include graphics which I would have thought to be necessary for this challenge, the game somehow managed to strongly capture the feel. It felt the darkest. Any game can use black white and red. Blac, through it's interface, captured a sense of mystery and darkness. It also had really creative gameplay that was challenging without being too hard to figure out.
Shadow Assassin seemed creative and mostly well executed. I would really like it if the movement controls weren't clumped in tight with the other controls. Having all the controls in a tight little ball made it very hard to hit the right thing at the right time, which is just frustrating.
SS-501 was also good but just so similar to things I've seen before that it didn't stand out enough to beat the others.
Everyone had good games!

First place: Blac - Enzee Prod
Second place: Dark streets - Cyber Spirit
Most creative: SS-501 - Clearline Games
Blac: While text based games arn't my cup of tea, the way the game made you think outside the box was a bit interesting. Though that bar randomly switching between 0-100% really confused me untill I figured what was going on. Nice job!
Dark Streets: What can I say I like a classic fighter style game, reminds me of mortal combat 64 as a kid. It was probably due to the time, but it was lacking in content. I did feel as if you were going for a strat with backing up and attacking with different moves, but as stated before it's best to just spam attack.
SS-501: This one felt the most polished out of the 3 (excluding mine ofc lol), with a great use of the theme. I can imagine looking at a radar scanner for this game. But sadly it was just... unfinished with no real tutorial.

First place: Blac - Enzee Prod
Second Place: Shadow Assasin - Plo098
Most creative use of the theme:
Blac had the most complete feel. It was a full experience, storywise complete, and had very imaginitive mechanics to progress the story. Very much liked!
Shadow Assassin was an interesting platformer. It did feel a little clunky, and I was cursing liberally before I finished mission 6. While I was griping about getting caught (AGAIN!) I was also enjoying myself. But while the mechanics and the gameplay were complete and 'full functioning' I felt the story was lacking. Still a good game - but I feel it could use some polish.
SS-501 was regrettably not complete. I like sub games - but even with the unlimited ammo and no cooldown between shots, the slow turning of the sub and the lack of a win condition (I had racked up over 30 kills before I just stepped back and let them get me) were issues that detracted from it, for me. A possible idea for future implementation - add a rare enemy that crosses attack channels instead of simply advancing directly at the sub?
Dark Streets did have a nice visual style, but again seemed to lack story and the mechanics of the combats were pretty lackluster. I also noticed that while we had two dimensional movement, our attacks seemed to cover the entire battlefield as far as the up/down axis. I was able to stand at the top of the battlefield and strike my enemy that was standing at the bottom. Promising, but I think it needs a bit more development before its really ready for prime time. (Just look at my own dev attempts - mine are in the same boat!)
As to the most creative use of the theme - that's kinda difficult to award. I feel that Blac was the most creative overall, with Shadow Assassin just behind it, but not for the use of the theme. As the theme was just the three color pallete, I feel that all four entries used it well. Just...maybe not innovatively enough to make it 'most creative use'.
So maybe award it to them all?

Blac was nice, I always enjoy these sort of "change your environment to progress" games. I think it would have been slightly better if it was more clear on what you could interact with, and I think I lost the hint button after a few clicks. For sure though, the sound should be a bit louder, since at full sound I can still barely hear anything.
Shadow Assassin is a nice concept, but the controls feel cramped and confusing to me, and the time it takes to actually do an action is long enough to feel unfun, especially in a stealth/action type game.
SS-501 is also a nice concept, but I quickly learned that I can just surround myself with a ring of mines and just replensh them whenever they get hit with pretty much 0 consequences. I think having some sort of incentive to use the different ammo types would have been nice to keep it more engaging. The music is definitely unsettling though, so that's a nice mood fitter for this game.
Dark Streets is also also a nice concept, but not a whole lot of depth. It's pretty short, and on the third fight I just went up and mashed 2. I was basically 1 hit away from dying, but there wasnt much strategy needed for it.
First place: Blac
Second place: SS-501
