Do the perks from finished secrets survive through ascensions, or do I have to unlock them all over again next time?

to kill death u need to do like around 1/1.1 mill damage a second .......

just replying to confirm you can unlock the last area on lvl 60+ fishing, just make sure you see the grammophone animating and keep the screen active for a couple of minutes. You'll eventually get some item that you have to click to unhook and moves you to the secret zone.

you do need to stock on a lot of rainbow ores to get them back to the level they were boosted before byt he forge

Can't get the gramophone to work, What am I missing? It looks right, and lvl 81 in fishing. Anyone have a visual on how its suppose to look? Thanks

You only need lvl 60 fishing, OP is wrong. What you must do is click the gramophone so it is playing music and wait on the fishing screen until you catch a dollar bill fish. It does not matter if you have caught it before, you must wait for one to appear with the grammaphone playing.

No, Death only has 10m health. You have to kill death before you are fully healed. Just spam all your skills at once. I did with damage 100k or so.

any more detailed guidance on finding gramophone? I unlocked the blacksmith pills area but don't know where to find first piece, and second piece is somewhere near rolling boulder? How do you find it?

Is it possible that the dollar fish doesn't show up anymore when fishing power is already too high? I am at 36.000 fishing power right now trying to get that dollar fish with the gramophone on.

Getting Higher Tier (not Type which is small, medium, large) fish doesn't depend on your Fishing Power, but rather your Fishing Level. I believe you need somewhere around Lv 56-60 to get it.

Okay, then I have to try after ascending. I am at level 69 and only get the big fish.

For getting grammophone first you need to find parts. Disc can be founded at bottom right at pighead secret screen.
Second part you can find just right on a boulder training animation on masonry training skills.
When you gathered all the parts you can just activate this grammophone just clicking on them. (maybe i will miss one part but i dont know. i obtained main box already before notice this.)
After that you need just to wait until you pickin a bucksfish. (you can switch your fishing pole and hook to a poor one for more chance getting nessesary fish)
At least just click on a bucksfish on pole and watch.

Is there waiting required to find the disc at the pighead secret? I've been on the page for a few minutes, and have yet to see the piece.

I have a basic question :
I have two out of the three secret areas unlocked, pig head and death's son.
I read that they give bonuses. However, I cannot see these bonuses nor their effects in the game.
How does that work ?

If you click on the main object in the area, it will display a symbol representing some crafting material, and a number. If you have that much of that material, it will then show a green check mark, those materials will be consumed, and you can now check the next amterial requirement by clicking on it again. You only get the bonus after completing all the requirements for that secret area, which may require increasing your mining and fishing skills by a lot. Once you do, the bonus will be shown on that page, and clicking the object will simply display a star.

level 80 Fishing to unblock third secret area ??????? do you know how much take to have level 80, my level is 37 because i play this for 9 days ago or 10 or 11 i forgot !! but i have all grammophone pieces.

I got it around lv 60.
Raids upgrades and ascending really help you get there.
