At the end of the 2nd ascension some flavor text said "you have killed 0 mushrooms". But that is wrong because I had to have killed at least 5 in order to progress. 2nd, what does that have to do with anything? Is there some kind of unlock from killing a lot of mushrooms?
Hah, I thought there must be some other hidden mushrooms somewhere too. Thanks to the developer for clairfying that it's "just a bug" so I don't go crazy trying to figure it out.
