Can´t believe that there are still people which don´t use things like ccleaner regulary.
And no, i got more productive things to do than copy&paste local saves ever time i clean my system (which is every ~2 hours)

Not against cloud save but you could probably just stop using ccleaner. Disk space is cheap enough nowadays and most of the stuff it clears up would be deleted by windows anyways. It doesn't have any significant impact on disk space. I don't think they've ever claimed it improved performance but if anything its more likely to slow things down because some of the caches it clears will need to be repopulated. Either way, its going to be minimal impact for better or worse performance.
A lot of people stopped trusting ccleaner when avast bought it. And from some of its data collection/monitoring. And from it ignoring settings to not update and automatically updating anyways. And because it was compromised for a bit a while back.

Or add an exception to ccleaner.
Here, I'll put it in terms you'll relate to:
Can't believe that there are people that use CCleaner every ~2 hours without knowing how it works.
I agree cloud save would be a big load off my mind, with all these stories of lost saves, but you don't *have* to run ccleaner every 2 hours (lol wat), and if you insist on it you can use it without nuking your flash/etc saves.

I cant believe that people dont know how to use ccleaners options. Untick the browser cache clearing settings in ccleaner for the browser you are using. Learn how the software works.

Lost my save too, been around for a month also. PC turned off due to power outage, or maybe it was the recent patch... either way. Too much lost to start again. It was gettin good. :(

ditto. Game data can be lost easy. I had my power suddenly go out and lost plenty of saves. Most had cloud saves, so I could keep on. Ones that didn't, I didn't play again

You can find the save and back it up.
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\UserData\Default\Pepper Data\Shockwave Flash\WritableRoot#SharedObjects\<letters and numbers>\chat.kongregate.com\gamez\<numbers>\<numbers>\live\KongFinalOct8.swf
in this folder is the save file.

I cant follow that folder chain. Can only get to
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\UserData\Default
Then the next folde, pepper Data, doesnt exist.

I lost my save today. It was a great game, but I dont want to do all the stuff again. This should not happen.

Lost my save again... No game should need a MacGyver solution to saving.
The game has lots of plays and good rating because it is a good game, but it also loses a big chunk of it's playerbase everyday because it lacks the most basic feature. I just can't understand how the developer can add so much content, but still neglect the essential features.
Good luck to those that will keep playing. May the RNG gods protect your progress, because the dev won't *(or will he? dun-dun-duuuuun!!!)*.

Came here to check the farming update and my save was wiped. I don't think I can do everything all over again, specially since I had spent a lot of gems from events. I didn't expect to leave this game like this :/

Ahh.. I had already made a comment, and figured I'd check the forum.. I am sad to see that this is. kind of seeming like a major issue. My comment was "
The game is fun and I came back to it after having taken a break, before all this crazy new stuff was added, figured I'd try it out.. only to find out my save is gone. I had been up to like, the 3rd major area in Fighting, had Infinite Forge unlocked, some of the special miners, and some other stuff, and lost it all. Don't know why. =( RIP save. had not cleared cache, same computer, same browser, don't know."
tl;dr I also lost my save for no apparent reason. It was just a bit after the Rift stuff had been introduced, I had those going, and I think Farming had not yet been added. I took a break for a while, came back to try all this crazy new stuff.. and my save is gone. I didn't change anything. Dunno what to do now, if I really feel like going through all that again.. Plus, I lost things that cost gems.. Meh.
