I only started playing the new update like 2 days ago, and last night I went to bed with everything fine. When I got back to it just now, the game was just crawling, both on the fight screen and on the training screen. I waited a bit to make sure it saved and refreshed, and it was still happening on the welcome back screen.
Shutting down all instances of my browser fixed it. Before I did I saw that one of the browswer processes was using 5.5gb of memory, which i'm assuming is Idle Skilling because I wasn't doing anything else in any other tabs/windows that would account for that kind of memory usage / leakage.
