The wiki says that traces amount correlate with Botany level, Plant dropped, Plant level and Overgrowth level.
At other hand known that high tiered Plants (over)growth up slower than low tiered ones.
Let's say that we have the Weeds at 140 O(ver)G(rowth) level and Sunburst at 60 OG level, then which harvest will give a better traces drop?
In case if both would gives aprox. equal of Botany Traces then is there a some "balanced" Plant that have a best ratio between Plant level and Overgrowth level for the most efficient traces grinding?

All Plants seem to give very similar Traces amounts so there's no reason to try finding one plant that's the best for Traces farming. It's best to get Plants you will be able to use for Potion Brewing although it's best to upgrade every Potion even if its effects are capped.
