Are any of the cards passive, meaning you get the bonus even if they are not equipped. If so, how can you tell which cards are passive and which are not?
I have 3 decks set to "all combat" but it only seems to work with whichever deck I have equipped in the last slot. Is this a glitch or are you only able to have 1 deck set to all combat?
Finally I have 5 decks and 5 links unlocked. What would you recomend I assign to each. Right now I have one for Minning, one for Limbo and two for all combat.
Any help would be much appreciated.

The cards that say "Passive" have their bonus applied passively. This is almost exclusively certain asylum cards, and cards from Maelstrom. They will get a double bonus when equipped.
You can only have 10 cards equipped at one time, so if you have multiple decks linked to a certain screen, only one will be chosenn.
Deck links my advice would be at first prioritising with the cards you have available. No point having links for decks you only have a few useful cards for. As you get more cards and thus more flexibility, I guess use them for the areas you need boosting the most.
I doubt for example, you need 2 seperate decks for mining and fishing, although if you only have one, you must remember to click away from that section, on that screen, otherwise say you only had a mining deck, if you visited "craft" and the last thing visited was fishing, the deck wouldn't be activated. But if the last screen visited was mining, then you could travel from there to fishing and back again, with your mining deck equipped for both.
Early game I would have thought the train deck more important than limbo, a mining/fishing deck, a tilling/botany deck, a fighting deck, potentially a "boss looting" deck. But it hugely depends on the cards you have. And as long as you remember which links you are using, and click on screens in the right order, you can have 1 deck link serving for multiple screens.

Thanks you so much for the reply. Which deck have you put your Card drop rate cards into?

When I was trying to get cards I sub them into my fighting deck. Normal card drop rate cards don't affect anything other than the normal area cards from fighting. The crusade drop rate cards affect, predicatably, drop rate in crusades, and all other areas have a fixed drop rate which is unchangeable.
