Are you an independent developer? Do you have a small crew of friends working together on your project?** I am making games all by myself as indie. I only get help with the music. I have been developing games for about 3.5 years.  **Prior to designing games, were you a game enthusiast?** Yes, being a gamer myself, I love designing games. I grew up playing classic Pokemon games. They always have a very special place for me. I also love indie hits like Braid, Limbo, Inside and Thomas Was Alone. **How did you come up with the idea for your game?** Hexa Turn is a combination of some games I have played, interpreted to make it a unique experience. I was inspired by Chat Noir and some other puzzle games. I added some features that I wanted to see more of in the genre.  **Is there something about this game genre that inspired you?** Puzzle games, but the ones makes you really think and feel smart. **What sort of experience do you want your players to have?** I wanted the players to think in an interesting way while blocking the triangle. I hope that players feel that each level requires a new escape plan!  **What is your favorite part of this game?** Finding the solution and getting the a-ha moment after a little bit of diverse thinking. **What are your next plans? Do you want to release a DLC or an expansion?** I don't plan to release DLC or expansion. However, I am working on a sequel. (Editor's note: That's Hexanome!) **What sort of programming resources did you use?** I used Unity. General development took 6 months with one iteration for visual tweaks. Hexa Turn was created using only open source programs.  **What made you want to post the game on Kartridge?** I wanted to be in a fresh and not-overcrowded store. I also upload my games on Kongregate. Both are great places for indie devs to find a place for their games. **How has the experience gone so far?** It is great, I especially love the customizable store pages. The upload process was very easy. **Tell us something else interesting about yourself!** I am 25 old guy who wants to make games as an indie.
