A few questions about the traits.
1. What exactly does bleed do?
2. What exactly does blind do?
3. When phase shift or combo hitter proc, do the effects on attack (such as slow down effect, vampire, heal, etc) also trigger?
Thanks!

1. Bleed is a DoT effect similar to burn and poison. The actual parameters differ between the traits that inflict bleed e.g. Deep Cut gives a longer lasting bleed with less damage per stab, while Rend gives a short lasting bleed with more damage per stab. In general the bleeds do 90% of the damage dealt in the normal attack that procced it over 2 seconds. Also, bleed will stack with other DoT's (including bleed.)
2. Blind reduces accuracy to 0% for the duration. So if you blind a monster, all of their attacks will be avoided.
3. Yes, Phase Shift and Combo Hitter both cause regular attacks, so any traits that proc on attack have a chance to proc as a result of those attacks.

I thought bleed might do a percentage of enemy's HP as damage over time. Thanks for clearing that up!

Yes, that is correct. A beast with tribalism will boost all beasts and only beasts on the team. If you transfer that to an undead, it would then be undead tribalism, boosting only undead.
Optimized heal and escapist are the other two traits that are similar in terms of limiting what races they boost.

Arcane Knowledge does not increase toads healing at all.
I recommend Octopus with Darkness & Slime, two Elfs, Toad with Opt Healing, and Manticore with defensive traits for the push to 40+ over the 3x Elf, Toad, Manticore setup.
Oct with Vamp + toad + 3x elf could also have merit.
Edit: Turns out Oct triggers on attack abilities up to 5x on attack, including heals. Will be testing Manticore + Oct w/ Opt Heal + 3x Elf as soon as i can find an Opt.

What is the difference between phase shift and combo hitter? I dont really understand the difference between "attack twice" and "attack with no delay"...

Think shot gun(combo hitter) vs semi auto/burst(phase shift).
Combo hit is like occasionally getting two bullets vs one, phase shift is like geting semi-auto fire every so often. Or, 100% combo hitter would be sustained 2x damage. Where as phase shift at 100% would be broken, OP damage, where your monster is stuck on full auto.

So if I understand well : combo hitter cant be chained, but phase shift can, so phase shift > combo hitter right?
Thanks a lot sir!

A few simple questions:
1. Is Darkness blinds all or only attack target?
2. Is Horse energy team buff (as in description) or only target buff (as it seems from observing speed stat)?
3. Does Darkness/Slime/Sharp Tongue/DoTs work with Weasel (technically - it's not reflect, but riposte, aka attack) and Reflect?
4. Is it viable to have Cerberus for affliction spam or it will lose in efficiency to masters too much? Having all enemies blinded/heal debuffed/attack speed debuffed sounds fun...
I'm currently reached Screen 100 and obtained my very first Duke of Null.

No healers. You can't get far without healers. Try to have at least 2-3 monsters with healing, the normal one not the enhanced one as enhanced will only heal one type of monster class base on description. With 3 monsters having the heal trait, you can sit back & just watch the cyclop die without doing any damage to your team.

for badge hunters
formation: last Debuff(or support), Healer, semi DPS, DPS, Tank front
* Tank: Manticore + Holy Spirit, Repurpose, Deflect.
Repurpose, Deflect work as avoid.
* DPS: Sphinx + Piercing(Physical), Killing Streak, Combat Blessing, or Tribalism, Instensity(rare).
all DPS need Piercing for anti Deflect.
* Healer: Octopus + Healer, Optimized Heal
Octopus' Multi Hitter heal 5 times when hitting 5 enemies.
Healer need higher SPD as possible. SPD random range is Low(0.9 - 1.1), Med(1.3 - 1.7).
* Debuff: Octopus + Darkness, Healing Aura or Slime.
idk blind all, or 5x blind to front one.
learnable trait can be lvl by same core trait.
Manticore's core trait is better resistance than Nymph for defeat 2nd boss.
Angel is moved D2+. current 1st arrival master is Duke of Null @ demon area.
Vampire's heal rate is nerfed.

I caught an elder with 3 open slots. It is going to be a healing character, what are the best 3 for healing to put on it? Is it also possible to stack healing aura [having 3 of the same trait on a character], if so?

For those that started after the 3/15 update. My current team build to farm the demon world easily. I started with Jota's build, but found that elfs and tribalism are underpowered with the current meta. I tried the 3 elf team with elder and nymph and was dying at level 38. Tried nymph, healing elder, dps elder and a combo of two elfs both with tribalism, and elfs with tribalism and escapism. I would occasionally reach level 60. Tried the team shown in the photo with an elf with tribalism and could get to level 63 regularly. Elf with escapism did much better. The second nymph I only added "healer" and "steely" trait
So there is my summary with limited testing. I hope it helps some of the new guys.

For the badges i used that build. I had to drink a potion or 2, but that worked quite well, even afterwards.
**Vampire** can be switched with **Deflect** which might be a better choise.

I'm waiting for iOS version to play again and update my guide. Currently no time to play and grind just on a PC, sorry about that guys, i believe the guide still helps in mostly everything tho, it might have some things that arent exact but the basics should work just fine for all the new players out there. @barfarf yea some people asked the devs over discord to stick this, but it seems they have closed communication a lot since i played.
