The boss at Tower 5 does not have a lot of HP, but I think it only takes damage from traits or something. I put in a bunch of scrap monsters (under 1M DPS at 0% speed) with mesmerize, firebath, and the like, and it took down the boss like nothing, while my other team doing 100DPS did nothing for 10 minutes. No potions required.
