Hi guys!
In this thread i want to explain some of the more advanced game mechanics which are not immediately obvious to the player and which may not be properly explained in the game. Sorry about that!

**Unlock higher difficulties**
I just enabled a new feature for players who have completed **A LOT** of masteries.
Currently, players can play a mastery up to level 15 with increasing difficulty and rewards. As of today, this level cap on masteries is increased by 1 for every 500 stars the player has accumulated.

**Champion health bonus**
Regular units receive a health bonus when recruited, depending on the amount of champions you have on the field and their level. However, only champions which share color with the new unit apply.
*example*
when you have two green champions on the field of level 10 and 15 and a blue champion of level 50, newly recruited units will receive the following health bonusses:
a blue unit will receive (level: 50) x 0.25 = 12.5% health bonus
a green unit will receive (level: 10 + level: 15 = 25) x 0.25 = 6.25% health bonus

**Champion leveling bonusses**
When a champion levels, it gains the following bonusses:
+1 base health for every level
+1 armour, 1 defense, 1 regen & 1 offense for every 10 levels
+1 healing every 50 levels
+3 talent points each level
Recruiting units of the same color gain +0.25% health bonus for each level while the champion is alive. This bonus is applied only when recruiting the unit, champions dying or recruited after the unit is recruited have no effect.

**Unlocking new masteries**
When playing Digitwars, you can obtain new masteries to play on the following ways:
1. when completing the weekly challenge on the first difficulty, the weekly is then added to your masteries view. Maps are unique every week and many of them have unique features, like spawning tents, kongpanions, events and more. Be sure to play the weekly every week!
2. In the masteries overview you can buy masteries which you may have missed in the weekly challenge.
3. In Digitwars The Grigits (also playable on Kongregate) you can play a daily campaign where you can find map pieces, collecting 3 of the same map pieces unlocks the map in your masteries.

**Forging equipment basics**
With the forge you can upgrade your best items into even better items. To do this you need +1 items of any rarity. So be sure to hold on to +1 items when you find them.
Here's how it works:
If you have a +1 legendary sword which you want to upgrade, you can sacrifice two other +1 swords (of any rarity) to upgrade your legendary sword to +2
To upgrade the sword again, making it +3, you will need to sacrifice two +2 swords of any rarity.
If you only have a lot of +1 swords you will first have to make the +2 swords needed to upgrade your legendary sword.
This makes forging exponentially more expensive for each level
**Forging advanced: Alignments**
Most equipment items have an alignment. This is the +1 on the item.
Alignments can be 1 of 4 types: fire, wood, water, earth
The combination of alignment type and the equipment type defines what the alignment bonus will give
sword + wood = fixed attack bonus
sword + fire = attack percentage bonus
sword + earth = fixed defense bonus
sword + water = defense percentage bonus
boots + wood = fixed health bonus
boots + fire = fixed attack bonus
boots + earth = fixed armour bonus
boots + water = fixed defense bonus
armour + wood = regeneration percentage bonus
armour + fire = health percentage bonus
armour + earth = fixed health bonus
armour + water = fixed armour bonus
staff + wood = fixed regeneration bonus
staff + fire = fixed attack bonus
staff + earth = attack percentage bonus
staff + water = fixed healing bonus
ring + wood = fixed regeneration bonus
ring + fire = attack percentage bonus
ring + earth = armour percentage bonus
ring + water = healing percentage bonus
**Forging advanced: Alignment rarity multiplier**
The bonus amount given by alignment on equipment items is increased with rarity
*The rarity multiplier is as follows:*
common has multiplier 1
uncommon has multiplier 1
rare has multiplier 3
epic has multiplier 3
legendary has multiplier 4
immortal has multiplier 5
godly has multiplier 6
mythical has multiplier 7
**Forging advanced: champion specific stats rarity multiplier**
The bonus stats given for specific champions (found through relics) on equipment items is increased with rarity
*The rarity multiplier is as follows:*
common has multiplier 3
uncommon has multiplier 4
rare has multiplier 5
epic has multiplier 6
legendary has multiplier 7
immortal has multiplier 8
godly has multiplier 9

**Kongpanions**
Kongpanions are strong units that could help out a lot in difficult levels, especially early on in the game.
Kongpanions do not gain experience when completing a mission and do not grow in strength, unlike champions.
Regular Kongpanion stats:
100 health
5 armour
5 regen
20 attack damage
20 defense damage
Shiny Kongpanion stats:
125 health
10 armour
10 regen
30 attack damage
30 defense damage
Kongpanions can be deployed on any of your owned territories, so you do not need a blacksmith or a fortress to deploy them.
To recruit a Kongpanion you need a DigiOrb and 50 gold and you will also need to have unlocked a Kongpanion through Kongregate. You can unlock one by doing the badge of the day quest on Kongregate
