August 1 - 6, 2019 (starting and ending at 1:00 PM PT)
The gold rush is here! There's no time to waste! We've got to mine as much of it while we still can! Businesses can be different types of mines, gold, diamonds, rubies, etc or they could be support-businesses around gold mining.

I really like this game, but the manager scaling needs to be fixed. I am on the second map and have no working managers.

I agree completely I’m on map 4 and I’ve only had managers on map 1

Absolutely. I downloaded this game because it's an idle game. Not, require me to click manually all the time.

I think its ok that if you want to win the competition, you Will need to spend some time ir cash but it seems impossible. I Will not spend cash or time but if the competition were just to be idle, we would win all togheter

If you’re going to be greedy, at least scale the manager level requirements at a better rate. The scaling to manager level 7 at Town 5 is ridiculous. Shoot, having manager 2 be a requirement for most of Town 1 is pushing it. More people will play, and even pay, if you scale to the right balance. Right now, this doesn’t feel like a fun game with all the boundaries set by paywalls (with unreasonable prices for what’s offered) and a lack of forewarnings on manager level progression per town.

I paid cash 2x now and still barely have any managers. I will not pay another penny.

When are you guys going to fix the upgrades for this event??? I paid $$$ to be able to use them and can't. Already submitted a ticket and haven't heard back from anyone.

Everyone complaining about this event are ridiculous. Do you want everything spoon fed to you? I completed all levels of the event in one day and I didn’t spend a single dime

Yep, I agree, manager scaling is out of sight on events. I don’t mind spending a little bit of cash to support a game I enjoy, but this is outright highway robbery what they do on events. On top of it all, after seeing last event outcome even if you do spend NOTHiNG from what you spend on the event translates in to your ‘normal’ gameplay. It’s just squandering money to get a possible event reward you could have probably spent half as much to obtain via the regular store.
All of that being said, unless some drastic changes come to allow for more casual and true idle play I don’t see the game going very far. I know I’ll be uninstalling if it doesn’t let up on the pay elements. Just not worth dropping $50 just to pass town two.

There is a difference between completing and competing. Yes, I can tap, tap, tap and finish the 10 targets per town level. No way you can be max town level on the event and compete for the LB rewards though. If you’re just going to tap, tap, tap manually the the game needs to be renamed to Frontier not IDLE Frontier. Some of us actually want to play the idle game and don’t have hours to spam tap our device screen as you obviously do. Not saying there is anything wrong if that’s the play style you enjoy. More power to you. Just isn’t the play style many others, myself included, enjoy.

I think there is a misconception, you do not need to use every manager to complete the level, you can get by and complete the level with one and some times not even all of the managers. Yes, there is a lot of tapping involved, but like others have said, in less than one day (1/5th of the event) some have already completed the 7 levels.

I will also add that it is one thing to compete against other players on the leader board, but to have to compete against AI is ridiculous. I'm in 5th or 6th place when I should be 2nd. Even the leading player is in 2nd against the AI. That's a big difference in rewards.

Are you seeing a different leaderboard than I am? Mine shows me in first place with 44M diamonds

Yep....from what I gather from other posts, leaderboards are either regional or broken up some other way

How do you know which players are AI? The ones with the silly names??

In one of the other posts the developer said the names obviously generated by the game are people who don't have an account connected. Pretty sure they said there wasn't AI.
