There was a thread somewhere that had each town and what manager level you needed. Very helpful but I can find it. Has it been deleted.

Wow did kongregate really take down a post that was meant to help players? I saw that post earlier today. It was on the forums a couple of hours ago

Holy cow... What's up with that???
I assume you mean the one for the event? (Or maybe there was one for the main game too?)
I was able to find the post in my forum comment history (you can probably find it there too?) but the actual text of the post was removed and replaced with:
"This post either requires Admin Review or has been hidden by a moderator or administrator. If it is your post and it remains hidden for 24 hours, you can email support@kongregate.com if you think this was an error."
And the post was locked and I guess hidden from the forum too since I don't even see the locked thread here.
Weird stuff going on here...

I don't know if edits are counted as spam. It could've been counted under auto-moderation (if there is any) which closed and hid it.
Or it's manually removed; We can't know yet.

Okay - I thought I was going crazy, because I was remembering a bunch of posts that I couldn't find anymore.
It looks like a lot of the posts talking about game balance (or lack thereof) were taken down?

I posted on it and can see it from my comment. It has been locked and the following note added.

Edit because I've just noticed, I also made this comment several hours ago and it appears to have only just shown up?
