Hi.
I conducted an experiment, set multiple windows with same gamestate: start of recovery after high layer prestige and selected different settings for layers 1-4 autobuyers. Then waited until they reach new highest layer.
The winner is
L1 4 roots
L2 3 roots
L3 2 roots
L4 current
Second place is
L1 5 roots
L2 4 roots
L3 3 roots
L4 current
by couple hours
All other options were significantly worse
For early stage of recovery you can use different settings to get base multipliers faster, but 4/3/2/0 seems to be the best option for pushing

Hey so for clarity, are you suggesting to involve layer 5 in the autoprestige loop?
Does it get prestiged at all?
Do you ever get more multi from layer 5 than you would have from simply prestiging layer 4 again?

Hi.
There is literally nothing said about Layer 5 in my post. Only first 4 layers, and 4th will only upgrade until about ee11s, i personally disable it at that time

But if layer 4 has a prestige condition (as in according to your screenshot) then that means layer 5 is involved in the loop... For layer 5 to not be involved you would have to set layer 4 to 1.01x as is the norm

The only involvement of Layer 5 is you unlock L4 autobuyers in it.
L1 threshold is 4 roots
L2 - 3 roots
L3 - 2 roots
L4 - current (0 roots)
All others are Default, which is e1e100, that means they never trigger, as we never go higher than e1e20 currently.

You still haven't explained why layer 5 isn't involved when layer 4 has a prestige condition mate...
If layer 5 is not involved why not set layer 4 to 1.01x instead of current()x?

I maybe understood you? You mean, that l4 will only fire when l1-3 can't, so it basically doesnt matter what autobuy multi its set to?
Yeah, that makes sense, i agree, l4 setting is better set to x1.01
But even with x(current) layer 5 will never trigger. If l4 threshold isnt met, it will just not prestige at all when reaching SFC

What other options? What else did you compare it with? In particular I'd like to know whether you compared the "5 roots on everything" method that gakm4 recommended in the "Basic Guide" thread.
