I know you lose your prestige points you spent on skills forever when you reset, but is the same true for aliens you spent on skill points?

Aliens you spend on skill points you do lose forever yes, BUT, those skill points remain for ever. And with the latest update, you can reset your skill points at will, and get all your bought skills points back, and rearrange them any way you wish.

Sorry for the late reply. At first, you'll only be using Reset skills to rearrange the skills – to get different boosts or for whatever you'd like to do with this change (No skill points disappear - both those skill points bought with Aliens or Prestige points will be refunded to you and usable as free skills).. Let's go through this example: In case you've bought Skills directly from your Prestige point balance, the next cost will stay the same as it was before the usage of Reset button. You'll reset all skills and get all 'free skills' back to your balance to distribute them once again. (So, no matter the skills were collected via Prestige Points or via Aliens rescued convert button – all is now given back as a free skill to distribute.) After you distribute them all, the price for the next skill will get back as it was before you've used the Reset. (so nothing is changed, you just rearrange the skills). In case you need more details please do let me know, and I'll try to explain in more detail according to your specific example.

No, I get it now. I think there must have been a change sometime in the past several versions, because I did a reset (several versions ago) after spending both aliens and prestige points on skills, and while I wound up with free points, the prestige point cost reset back to base and I'm pretty sure I lost those points. Or just felt like I did. But I just did a reset now (I refreshed the tab this morning becaue the game had almost-frozen overnight) and I had the same number of 'free' skills as spent skill points before the reset, so... good. Thanks for the response.

@inthrees - What did you mean with ''your game frozen over night'' exactly? ..Any specific part of the game wasn't functioning and required a game refresh , does the game stopped on the loading screen, or sth else? Does this happen often to you - can you replicate it somehow?
