So far I have not been able to make myself a sandwich.
I have identified these abilities as definitely necessary:
Beginner Swordsman level 4, for assembling the sandwich from fish and bread.
Beginner Spearman level 4, OR Primary Water Magic level 4, for catching fish.
I have identified these abilities as definitely useless for the task:
Animal Handling
Believer
Hoodlum
Seclusion
Life magic is probably useless.
These abilites seem related, but dungeon drops mean they're not absolutely required:
Use Tools level 1, for gathering wheat.
Beginner Bojutsu level 4, for making dough from wheat.
Use Tools level 4, for gethering wood and chopping it into firewood.
Primary Earth Magic level 4, for growing wheat.
Primary Wind Magic level 4, for turning wood into firewood.
Primary Fire Magic level 4, for turning firewood into charcoal.
I had chosen the Tamer class initially, and I suspect I needed to be a Warrior to get all the parts required for my sandwich.

i more or less have figured out the same thing as you did but doing Manual Labour (loop action) can alsio give you bread as well. But by what i have seen so far, manual labour would probably be remove eventually as we progress further in the game

1. tools:harvest wheat/earth:grow wheat/fight monsters for drop/planter(equiped,sloooooow)
2. Bojustsu:knead dough
3. tools:lumberjack/fight monsters for drop
4. tools:split firewood/wind:create firewood
5. kiln(equiped,sloooow)/fire:create charcoal
6. kiln(equiped):baking
7. water:catch fish/spear:???
8. sword:cooking sandwitch
steps 1-6 can be avoided by getting bread from job, pewdew said he has "Manual Labour" while I have "Desk Work", must be related to starting class
also Im not sure if you need steps 3-5, since baking action doesnt use up any fuel
I dont have enough ability pts for spear, 95/100 and no hoodlum, maybe if I leave it to farm 1000 hour I will get last mysterious drop from demon warrior
while we are here, there are item mentioned
-by Small Basket called "Filet-O-Fish", is it related to spear?
-by Medicine Box: "Potion"
do you have any info on that?

Filet-O-Fish is from the Tamer job instead of bread from desk work.

spear level 4 gives spearfishing, which gives fish.
potion seems to be something for the future, given that i have gotten all the skills/actions from all 3 tamer abilities, all 3 warrior abilities, all 4 magic abilities, and believer, pharmacist, hoodlum and seclusion, with nothing that gives me potions.
Seeing that both the sorcerer and warrior textbooks have abilities that don't show up in the abilities menu, it doesn't seem very farfetched that there would be more more things that are mentioned in items but are not yet in game.

Those abilities are unlocked by choosing the sorceror or warrior classes at the beginning of the game. Items only improve abilities you already have, they can't directly grant new ones.
