I unlocked all 4 exotics and just started using them in my latest prestige. I've currently got my map set up using 3 exotics (Nimbus & Squidler at the beginning of the map for their gold boost, DPS boost and anti-shield aura, and Heatrash at the end of the map for the burn aura and agility boost). What do more exxperienced players think? Is this a good mix? Does anybody have any other suggestions?

use all 4 exotics!
using heatrash for burn aura at the end of the map is useless, dps damage it does is based on current hp, not full hp. also burn aura is pretty much only effective on bosses like cargo or tech ship.
you should get the gold, exp and essence aura up (so focus on squidler and nimbus).
and also asking in the kong chat would make things alot easier for you. i guess in room #1 and #2 you will for sure get some quicker answers.

Thanks for the feedback. Moving Heatrash to the beginning of the map made a huge difference. I will say hi in the chatrooms and ask questions there, but the advantage to the forum is that it creates a permanent knowledge base that people can search for specific topics.
I will pose this question is chat also, but can you tell me if the anti-shield aura effect is persistent, or do creatures recover their shield once they leave the area of effect?

I agree with the sentiment, so the answer for the question is no. Once they leave the aura they regain shield(s).
