Yes, I did use local save.
But within 2 days of playing, my save was lost twice and have to use the local load function.
So far I have no issue with any other game in Kong.

I'm not sure how the game save is stored in your PC for this game, but some games may save it in your browser and using any cleaning software like CCleaner or even cleaning you browser cookies and cache may cause you to lost your save.
**Edit:** Cleaning your browser cause save loss.

No issues here. Although the autosave function seems to be gone (read update notes btw), my game does save whenever I close my browser. I do keep a local save, just to be safe.

this kinda destroys the logic of "cloud save"
how can i use the state saved in the cloud on 2 different pcs and on the other hand lose it when one of these 2 gets its cache cleared?

I'm not talking about the Cloud Save - there was an announcement that they were experiencing problems with cloud save. I'm talking about the Local Save and some people keep losing saves because of their direct or indirect actions.

local save generate a new file for you to download, so unless you went on your way to delete said save file, its likely still laying around your download folder because browser does not delete your downloaded item, but just history and cache.
you can try to save a new game, and find out where the old save is located at.

If you don't click the Local Save button and never get a save file, it's still a Local Save - it save in your browser, in your PC...
My point is to tell the OP that he could have been having trouble with his save because of something he is doing.

Another thing that may bug your saves is playing with the computer clock to cheat. It may cause your computer to load an old save, instead of the most recent save.
