Folks might be more inclined to share information with you to help you advance if you belittled other players in a condescending manner a little less. If you look back through the forums the automation cost jumps, apple upgrade costs and lack of cards per level are an issue more than just one person has commented on. Not telling you what to do, just offering up some free advice.

With the main game no longer being supported is there a chance that stars and elixir in the challenges can be replaced with things helpful to the challenge?

Hi. Have you tried mailing them? Its been a long time since they have been here.
Check out the Idle Frontier posts in this forum, their older game, and look for my post from this week. That is the first time a developer represensitive has visited and may provide an idea about their direction regarding updates
