**NOTE: HEAVY SPOILERS ABOUT RESET TIERS AND FORMULAS TO FOLLOW**
**Version calculator last updated**
v1.009, last updated 6:20 PM EDT (5/23/2020 US) (23/5/2020 literally anywhere else)

**Default functionality**
This calculator lets you see how many offerings you get compared to the reset time of a certain reset in a graph, the default plotting is R_total, T_total, and P_total, and their floored values which is shown in the link below.
Default graph: https://imgur.com/DiwSDsz.png
**Extended functionality**
The actual functionality of this graph spans far greater than that however. Each different reset tier (prestige, transcension, reincarnation) has five different subgraphs of it shown in the link below.
All 5 reincarnation subgraphs: https://imgur.com/G69srzT.png
* The unmodified graph shows the offerings/time spent in a certain reset tier without accounting for factors that happen to all three combined reset tiers
* The graph sub m shows the offerings/time spent in a certain reset tier while accounting for factors that happen to all three combined reset tiers
* The graph sub total shows the offerings/time spent in a certain reset tier with the assumption that all reset tiers below it happen at the same time
* The graph sub totalf or sub mf are the same as their other versions with the floor function applied.
**Offering comparisons**
This calculator also allows for you to compare certain reincarnation types to eachother, for instance a 3600r/600t run vs a 3600r/nul run, or a 600r/nul run vs a 3600r/600t run. In the two images below I compare these values with no save data at all, and the values resulted with my personal save data plugged into the calculator.

My save data comparisons: https://imgur.com/M1JBVcA.png
**Manual Input Parameters**
You can input parameters manually in the calculator itself in the fields labelled under "Manual Input" shown in the link below.

**Automatic Input Parameters**
You can also input parameters automatically in accordance to your export data with the spreadsheet link above (note: you will need to make a copy of the spreadsheet, sorry), and can be easily done by plugging in the correct data similarly to the two images below.

**Farewell**
I hope this helps anyone who's curious about how the offerings formula works, and makes it easier to figure out optimal strategies for them.

So is the answer here that 3600r/600t is better than 3600r/null at offering generation, and 600r/null is better than either? My numbers look a lot like yours.
|
|
|
metadata
For offerings yes, for ob not even close.
|
|
|
metadata
What do the X & Y axis on the graph stand for? Seconds? Ticks?
|
|
|
metadata
x is seconds, y is offerings gain
|
|
|
metadata
So, 600r/null for the best offering/s seems to be a good rule of thumb for everyone. Obtanium of course still 3600r/null.
|
|

Shop purchases would probably change those numbers.

I'm having some trouble getting my export to work. I copied the text from SynergismSave.txt into A2 of the spreadsheet, but I get an error when doing so. I am using my own copy for this.

Is there something else I should be doing?

I already updated the calculator to account for all changes made in v1.009

What does "3600r/600t" mean? My assumption is that 3600 and 600 are the values for auto reincarnate and transcension, in time mode, respectively. Is this correct?

I have the same question, I'm depending on offerings to level the runes, the obtanium gain is too low while the researchings are expensive at my level

I think it is the number of seconds for each run e.g 3600r/600t would be a run that has auto transend at 600 seconds and auto reincarnate at 3600 seconds.
If you are farming for runes and don't want to do maths then best set up is to auto reincarnate every 600 seconds. - if you don't mind playing around with the graphs you can get a little more but it wont make much of a difference. e.g my most efficient is 721r/null but my 721r/null : 600r/null ratio is only 1.0778.

Oh, now I get it, it finally makes sense to me haha, thanks for the explanation.

But the game says: "Optimal Reset time for Offerings: 1,200 Seconds."
Is the game lying?

I believe it changes depending on how far you are into the game.

The save data comparisons listed on this forum topic are no longer accurate but I don't want to edit the page until v1.010 because it will likely require platonic to manually unlock it.
Also this page was a lot more useful before optimal offering timers were implemented ingame but it still lets you see exactly how much/little you gain from doing slightly different timings..

I had the same problem with my guide - there was a link to your calculator, and Platonic had to manually unlock it every time I updated the guide. Suggest splitting your links and your explanation into different posts.
Eg Post 1: Explanation bla bla bla Export Data link (1) and explanation bla bla Calculator link (2).
Post 2 is a list of links:
Export Data Link (1) http....
Calculator Link (2) http....
Link (3) http.... etc.
Then the post with the links can stay untouched and you can update your explanation and your comments as often as you like.

Hello Halo0000, if you're looking for a new challenge, how about doing a Rune calculator please?
: Which Rune has max impact given current state of rune levels?
: Which Rune(s) should be invested in if objective is to:
- Raise Particle count?
- Increase offering / obtainium income?
- Pass various challenges?
- Pass Cost++ challenge?
- etc?
Best balance of Rune levels for passing Cost++?

I feel like that's what I need to keep this game playable. I've beaten Cost++ twice and I'm at the point where there are just too many complicated factors to take into account before I can make any decision.

I'll consider it in the future but I don't know if something like that will ever come to fruition.
edit: progress is starting on creating ~~exactly~~ not quite exactly that cause it sounds really useful

Not sure if it's you or not, but someone has made a start on a rune calculator:
