Hey all, recently discovered this and been enjoying the crap out of it. Saw the tips and tricks guide thread but it didn't appear to have anything for my situation. Basically, I'm currently at the point where I have to do a bunch of manual reincarnations and challenges because I don't have the particles to buy the auto complete challenges 4 and 5 or the mythos upgrades, and because they don't auto-complete when I idle my particle count is pretty low. I want to say it's like 1000 versus 20000 after 90 seconds. Am I missing a strategy or anything or is this just one of the manual sections of the game? I've loved how everything slowly becomes automated as you advance further, so I guess I'm just surprised that there seems to be such a long slog before I can (properly) automate this. Hopefully I'm missing something. Thanks for any help!

Are you priced out of most of the other researches? I remember feeling something similar, but I think that was because I'd been underestimating the taxation scaling and building cost scaling upgrades. Do not sleep on those, especially the former ones! They're way stronger than you'd think at first.
Yeah, it'll be manual for a little while, but it shortens up pretty nicely if you diversify into researches you may be ignoring and stay on top of your challenges - including the first two reincarnation challenges. I feel like I was "pushing" things a bit toward the end to get the final auto-complete and/or % mythos gain upgrade.

The tax delay researches are probably the single biggest boosts in the entire set. Each one will push your production up by a significant amount. They're the key to getting lots of particles.
