hey guys. just to give you an idea of where i'm at, I'm currently portaling around zone 370. i just bought supervision for the dimensional generator and now have access to the slider. so my question i guess is how should i be using it? do i tune it down so it ticks more often? i'm not entirely clear on how to use it in conjunction with overclocker

I don't even use it at all. I haven't figured out a point to it.

The more fuel you have in your tank, the more housing you'll create per tick (while still only consuming 0.5 or 0.4, depending if you have the slowburn upgrade). Supervision has the 'pause' ability which can help you to fuel the tank while stopping the burning of fuel, helping to get the most efficient use of fuel as possible. If you don't have Autotrimps, you can also gain the ability to switch the Dimensional Generator in a specific zone. Like per se, you only want to fuel and overclock until only zone 400 and then gain Mi the following zones-you can do that. The slider to me is useless, I have no idea how that helps.

I think the slider help if you for some reason have bought far, far, FAR to many capacity uppgrades. If you have done that then you can´t fill up the tank and you can´t get any profit for overclocker. In that situation you can use the slider to tell the generator that only fill to this point then no more.

the most important part of the upgrade is the selection of were to switch from mi to fuel and back (recomend trying https://gatorcalc.github.io/) depending on your supply and capacity to detrmine where best to fuel and how much to
slider is usefull when you want to get as much population as possible within as few zones as possible if your capacity is very high (iirc if you dont cap out in fuel in 1/3 of your fuel zones you should lower it acordingly)
