If you opened the game after November 13th and your save is gone, follow these recovery steps: ## Method 1 This method will only work if you used Playfab cloud saving. You have to re-enable it. Do this by going to **Settings** (bottom center of the screen) and hit the blue **Not Saving Online** button, then click **Connect Kongregate to Playfab**. If you used cloud saving before, a new window should appear, telling you that you have a save that's further ahead backed up in the cloud. Click **Download From PlayFab** ## Method 2 **Open this website: http://trimps.github.io/** Make sure the link starts with **http** not https. This will open the game in another tab. Your save should be here. Click the **Export** button at the bottom left of the screen. In the window that appears, click the **Copy to Clipboard** button. Now, go back to Kongregate, click **Import** at the bottom left of the screen, hit **CTRL+V** and press Import in the pop-up. Trimps is hosted on github which can serve both a http and a https link to a project. The Trimps github link hosted on Kongregate is http, and is now forcibly switching to https. The http and https versions of the game point to different save file locations, which means that Kongregate users who did not have Playfab enabled will need to manually navigate to the http version of the game to pull their save back onto Kongregate.

Well CRAP... tried everything and I still gotta start all over. I've been playing this for over a year and now all my progress is gone... god damn it kongregate...

I played 7 dec and have lost the save after that. I can´t find any backup at any of the places mentioned and have not done method 3 :(

I had the same issue, connected my account to playfab, and got my old save back! everything seemed to be fine until I clicked fight, and the file corrupted, saving stopped, and the game basically stopped working. I can interact, but all of the loading bars (it's been a bit since i've played, idk the proper terminology) don't move. If I try to innitiate a building to build, it goes into the queue but does not build. If I try to gather food or the like, I make no progress. Does anyone know how to solve this? The save file is quite old, I think I started somewhere around V 4.something, maybe before I'm really not sure. Please message my account directly with any solutions. Thanks!

As of last night, the game stopped saving. Tried option #1, but the popup used to connect Playfab to Kongregate appears for about a half a second then disappears. No save possible. It was a neat game.
