I’ll replace bottom cannon w/ laser when I gets, & top left snipe w/ Tesla. Will make accomodations for ADT’s and bunkers when I have more blocks(CAN’T WAIT TILL TH 5- +80 blocks!).
Oh btw, when bottom most snipe finishes upgrading, I’m almost certain it will cover the snipes to the right & left of it. If not…Then I have a problem O: & might condense a bit.

Small Stuff:
Bottom silos are extremely eye-ra prone
U-shaped section of pathing under town hall looks redundant/monsters aren’t likely to ever touch it
Your resource production appears to be goo and pebble-heavy. This may cause shortages of twigs and putty.
Much bigger stuff:
I generally don’t like the idea of an SDT where monsters only walk a few feet between silos. In your next design, you should make a split SDT.
Fomor is exposed, but you can really only keep feeding it to solve the problem without a renovation.

Only 120 blocks
I’ve only had 7 days to upgrade.
I can barely afford stone walls, so I can’t increase the length(due to blocks also) otherwise they won’t path. What I need to know is is this good enough CF, good enough SDT that anyone attacking will fail at least 80% of the time on a looting wave.
Anyway, my yard is about 200x better then about 50% of my neighbors which are complete farms lol, already got max storage from just 2 of them so I could up snipe to lvl 4 & get laser!

I know enough about pathing to agree, 1.5 is for daves and champs. 1 is for everything else (Do you honestly believe a pokey can’t fit through a 1 block space?)

Actually, say they came from lower left/right down my Hall of Death. they’ll kill bottom silos, then move up to top silos, then come back down to eat TH, then will go the U turn to other 2 silos. I’ve redesigned TH to have only 1 bottom entry, Anyway the Eyera? Thanks for the warning I put 4 blocks down there.

Hi guys! Remember me? No? Okay ;-;. Well, here I am again for those who know me, and before you guys ask, no, I did not hack the game to get my base back or anything, I was never in-active, I deleted everything, put some shiny, and went building my base back from the dust again. I was watching you all silently. :)

I hide my resources and OPs just to not show how i’m going at the moment, later i’ll repost it and maybe i’ll show the resources. The MBs have 1 Eye-ra and 15 Baltazars in each of them. I’ve test my base with the baiter, 20 Daves, on each corner, North, South, West and East, all with the minimal damage, only housings or useless buildings destroyed, the MBs take care of the them. CC please. ^^

Too big of a line of blocks behind the champ cage, theres probably chews there. Plus, no one will attack on that side because there is nothing to get on that side. Adts aren’t cataprone, that’s good. I like how you hide some towers. I don’t like the magma tower placement. Pretty good overall though, 9/10.

There are some chews on the blocks near the north laser, but the 4 sniper towers make the monsters take some damage before they reach the laser, giving them a higher chance of dieing agaisnt the laser, also, the MBs cover the laser there, so Baltazars + Fomor = Little Damage on the tower.
Eye-ras aren’t that much of a problem on the blocks, a bunch die before reaching the walls.
I’m thinking in putting some blocks to protect more the ADTs, but I would need to change abit the SDTs there, and make a entrance with traps for the ADTs.

All right, I made a post 10 levels ago and now I’m back with a completely new base! I’m level 30 right now, but I’ve made some plans for later. Right now I’m calling it the “Robot of Death”.
**Cyan Xs** mark the spots where bunkers 2, 3, and 4 will be. I won’t always fill them up so some impatient/rash attacker will throw in 5M twigs, or even better, 10M pebbles, when he/she didn’t even do anything with their resources. The IDEA is for them to be cataprone for this reason.
**Purple Xs/Red Xs** mark where I’ll change my defenses around. First for purple I’ll put teslas and for red I’ll put lasers. Then I’ll switch the teslas with ADTs and the lasers with railguns. The teslas/lasers will then form a ring around the “robot”. Even later after I’ve upgraded my Under Hall the railguns will be swapped with quakes. The railguns will join the other towers in the ring around the “robot”. I’ll hide one magma behind the locker and the other behind a hatchery (not sure which one yet).
Oh, and of course, three layers of blocks around the “robot”. I had some chew problems when the Dreadnauts flung 63 Brains at me, so I’m triple walling. **Don’t** tell me to upgrade my blocks, I’m aware that I need to. I don’t have the resources because:
1) I have no Kozus in my Map Room (it’s level 1).
2) All my farms are in damage protection.
So I’ll upgrade my blocks soon.
Finally, my plans as to the remainder of my eventual possible 400 (I think) blocks. I’ll put up some “Halls of Death” for the railguns and if I STILL have blocks, well… more Eye-ra/Valgos bait couldn’t hurt anyone.
Well, I suppose I’ve rambled on enough. Here’s the base, score it on a scale of 1-10 (rate how good my future plans are from 1-5):

If I were you, I would remake the box yard into something with pathing, and more anti-cata proning as Bunkers are right below ADTs on importance. Given the idea you have is good, but once they get passed the NEC, they’ll just tear through faster then you can say Good Game.

1. Box? WTF are you talking about? Can’t you see the gaps in the walls?
2. Did you READ the post? They’re SUPPOSED to be cataprone. Actually read the post, and you’ll see why.
3. Well, aren’t all NECs like that? Once you destroy the NEC you move to the core. It’s simple logic for any yard with an NEC.
4. You obviously didn’t see the traps/gaps/towers.

A boxyard is a yard with little to no pathing in it… Your base fills that criteria pretty well.
And as I said, they are one of the most important defenses in the game. How would you expect to make it through a bunch of max DAVEs then?

The gaps can easily be avoided because the pathing you have will fail, only traps I can see hitting is the ones by the TH.

Seeing lordleelee’s response, you are very lucky. The base creation thread works upon people critisizing eachother, in a constructive way. You dont have to accept others responses, and advices, but you do have to behave **properly against other members**. as for the discussion factual: lordleelee is right, spreading them out, will cause your attacker to waste 4x the 5 million twigs or the 10 million pebbles, whatever you have in mind. cluster them together and they are an easy kill. It doesn’t matter if you fill them or don’t because with this layout, only one monster bunker has to be filled to loose goo. However, if you fill one monster bunker and they are all spread out, its 4×5= 20 million wasted to kill the same amount of bunkered monsters. This is ofcourse assuming you know how to place the bunkers in such a way that they aren’t easily baited.

According to one of the guide on the BYM forums, 3 layers of Black Diamond Blocks deter a monster’s path by 40-83 blocks. The robot is about 35-ish blocks long, so no, no chews.
