Ok this is pretty much a box yard. no real pathing… for a TH level 5 it is ok but wont last long what so ever….. work on pathing is my advice

I appreciate everyone’s input on this base! It’s just a theoretical design at the moment. It is untested because it hasn’t yet been built. I’m looking for feedback on the issues as you see them. If feedback goes well, I’ll move to building and testing phase.

Questions would appreciate feedback:
Should I place ARGoH traps on RGs differently? Not sure where optimal placement for traps to be triggered
Should I change/relocate other trap placement? Anything you would place differently? Where?
Professional opinion, does the TH need 2 layers to stop chews? I know testing will help figure this out, anyway to tell by looking here?
Used RGs as shields for outer layer of NECoT to delay and slow, should I instead push them out and make them a circle like the NEC?
Should I remove blocks from the 4 Sniper Towers in the corners and use those blocks as additional anti-fling? What benefit to those blocks being there?
Concerned about catapult on ADTs, is tower grouping on sides bad idea? Allows catapult to hit at least 4 towers at once…should I try spreading them out? Or not worry about it??

Not bad. Catapultable RGTs and CT, TT, LT, ST clusters. Also, with good aim, someone could take out the QT & ADT clusters. The top is rather vulnerable. Also, put some traps **between** the towers in the ARGoH. What champion fo you have?

Thelvin, why would you need an opinion on a base that:
1. Was made by bazz, called the Kraken (Source: Chat that espionage got me into)
2. Was tested by me numerous times
3. As it is maxed upgraded, who cares? Jumpers will have too hard a time taking it and empires can take anything anyways.

This is how I’m planning my TH 4 base to work. When I get TH 5 I’ll exchange the respective snipers for ADT & Tesla, and the cannon for another Laser. I want 2 MB’s to work with so one side won’t be weaker, so I’m gonna wait to build them.
The Black Squares are Blocks, Whitish are Traps, gray are heavy traps.

Ranges:

…SDT, 1.5 spacing for champs/dave, Good CF, not too many Cata sites, THDT, good Air coverage, EyeRa blocks…NECoRG, NEC, and IMO 8.5/10 for a town hall lv. 4(for 120 blocks, I think it looks rather good).
CnC is MORE then welcome…I spent 3 HRs on this so I want to know if it works!
Edit: Figured out placement of MBs. Laser bottom will move left to be adjacent to bottom silo(also will move in range of telsa(lvl 2 at TH 5) :D) same w/ laser on top. In the lasers’ current space will be the MBs.
Also at TH5 I’ll be able to expand the SDT & add a 5th silo, so this is by no means the completed version. I also need to think up a name…hmm…

This was a theoretical design I came up with all on my own, obviously it has numerous flaws. I appreciate the input because it helps me with my obvious mistakes. Well back to the drawing board…
@zys – **sigh** should I even answer an obvious troll…well this is for the others out there that might wonder. No this was not bazz’s design. No this was not the Adamantium Kraken – see here: “[http://forums.kixeye.com/showthread.php?t=186910”](http://forums.kixeye.com/showthread.php?t=186910”). Nor was the Kraken ever Bazz’s design, he got it from Stomp the Yard. We both switched to it at the same time. Clearly this was very different design if you paid any attention at all. Thanks for your non-input! ;)
@Legendary\_Ichi – I’m obviously not qualified to give you an opinion on your base as I’m still learning as well. My two cents: Build the Monster Bunkers even if it’s only one or two. Why? Every little bit helps. Early game you can’t really get everything perfectly symmetrical on defense but you don’t want to neglect the monster bunkers. You can fill them with Ichi’s for a great cheap defense or Eye-Ra’s for that shocking explosion. ;)

Right, I will ASAP. But is my SDT ok? Does it look to you if there’ll be chews? Are there enough traps in the openings? too much? Should some be in the passageways? Answer ASAP because I’m gonna transfer that unto my yard today(protection is 1 day left).

Your SDT has some issues.
1. Although there will definitely not be any chews, eight openings is too much. There is no way that all traps will be set off, which is bad. You’re wasting traps this way.
1.5. Some of those traps can be placed between towers and RGs to deter NEC clearers.
2. By lumping all four silos and the TH together, you make it easy for monsters to loot silos quickly. I suggest a split SDT in later designs.
NEC issues.
1. NECoT breaks lead tower monsters to ADTs, either through Cannon-Sniper-Cannon (Or sniper after MBs)-ADT on left side or Cannon-Sniper-Laser (Or straight to ADT after MBs)-ADT on right side.
Stuff that you can’t really fix.
1. CC is super-exposed, but you can only tuck it in closer to the center to alleviate that. Its huge range will still expose it though.
Also, put banditos in the bunkers. Their whirlwind ability annihilates mobs while Ichis stall them.

I know all those flaws already, this is just to protect my resources a bit until I get TH 5. I DONT HAVE A MONSTER LAB lol. Also, I only can afford stone which is why there so many openings. Rather openings that reduce SDT effectiveness then chews which bypass it completely(they’ll then get at least 1 silo, 4 if they are smart).
NO DUH, this is a low lvl base, I can edit it when I have more blocks. ADT is exposed, so what? Nothing I can do. At least mine base is better then a farm, right? ANYTHING is better then a farm.

I think your housings are a little exposed as someone can just fling a few pokeys and destroy them

Hey guys,
as far as i know there was once a NePoH design, but it no more works because of a change in the monster ai, which only makes them switch target if it is 20% nearer than the previous.
So my question is, could i make a circle which forces the monsters to go deeper and deeper into my base (cause of circle its always 20% less far away to the next buildiung), and inside the base they start destroying level some highly fortificated and tanky buildiungs, while they get shot by every single atack buildung from all sides.
Is this possible? i dont think so, but i am not very experienced and i am interested into this
