you could better protect your town hall/silos/resource gatherers by moving the traps inside the base, particularly at the open block; it’s actually a good setup for a STHDT; the monsters would funnel into the open block and then get killed.

PROTECT YOUR CANNONS!! they, besides lasers, can do the MOST damage when faced with a huge swarm of monsters, and are good sidekicks to kill the damage-doers when someone launches a tower-distracter damage-doer(such as ichis, and banditos), leaving the low damg dealers to suffer, also at high lvls good for taking out PX
this is a good setup imo

What would be the ideal format for a level three town hall yard?
I have:
1 map room, pebble shiner, putty squisher, store, monster locker, flinger, and TH.
2 twig snappers, goo factories, and housings.
3 silos
4 cannons and sniper towers
5 booby traps
and 60 blocks
AND NO YARD PLANNER.
What is the optimal arrangement? My base has been razed four times by and equal-leveled players. I need help.

lookie at mine right below yours for a good idea, and i have more RC’s(resource collectors) then you, but you can copy mine, isd mins
and when i was lvl 22, it took a LVL 27 with 10+ ichi and fang 2 times to raze my base :D

No such thing as optimal arrangement, as it depends. Also, any base can be destroyed, no matter how good it is.
So, just general tips:
Clump your towers together, but not too closely cause of catapult OR place them next to Harvesters and Silos to trigger Dmg Protection faster when catapulted.
Priorities: Town Hall \> Silos \> Defenses/Towers (Not harvesters, as without defenses your whole base falls flat) \> Harvesters \> Not too useful stuff that take a long time to repair (Like yard planner) \> Not too useful stuff that take less then 5 minutes to repair (Like General store)
Don’t make one box to to surround your base.
Mind posting a screenshot of your current base?

well, it has i think 800 HP when a wood block has 1000. dunno though, might be 810

Thanks. Since I need 61 blocks but can only use 60, I’ll have to use the store instead… Ah well.
