When I tried to log in to Wartune this morning, the servers were showing offline. I checked both Kongregate and R2 forums, saw no announced maintenance. Now, I can't even get to the server select screen. When I try to access Wartune, Kongregate just redirects me to the main page. I can't even submit a ticket because the site is acting like the game doesn't exist. I know Wartune itself is up and working since my account on Armorgames can log in without issue.

Yeah if you look at this https://www.kongregate.com/games/r2game I don't see wartune listed.. Nothing at all in forums. Earlier when i was able to get the server list and Kong chat an East coast player showed me this message he got.. https://i.imgur.com/FdKBQPF.jpg 24 hour game update? This is nuts.

I see someone moved this thread from tech support to Wartune. I posted this in Tech Support because the Kongregate site is acting like Wartune doesn't even exist. That seems to me like a technical issue on kong's side. Otherwise, we'd at least get to the server select screen. How about giving us some answers rather than just moving threads and ignoring us?

Would be nice if someone could either confirm what is happening. Does look like it could be some kind of 24 hour maintenance, but some kind of update regarding this is needed.

Looks like R2 hasnt paid his bill and Kong just took the game down. The game would still be visible if there would be just a maintenance...

Someone from Kong should update us on this if they've pulled Wartune, or if there is some other reason.

I submitted a ticket with kong and they just said its maintenance and gave the impression it would be brief. The response I got from R2 was a cut/paste response saying they were unaware of any maintenance but their IT team is looking into it. Makes me think either R2 support is clueless or this is a maintenance on kong's side.

could at least update us looks like they moved wartunes to https://www.kongregate.com/games/ProficientCity/ now, maybe the downtime is movinng all our data to ProficientCity just let us know is that whats happening the server list is back now but under a new link www.kongregate.com/games/ProficientCity/wartune?acomplete=wartun ProficientCity not r2games anymore

Sorry all, I just got online to find a message that R2 will no longer be hosting Wartune here. I wasn't told in advance. Proficient City will indeed be taking over. ProC prefers to use the ingame announcement function to alert players of pending downtime, which is why there was no post, and will be no posts for any downtime in the future. Normal weekly maintenance shouldn't change, we are all on the same schedule for that, but any emergency downtime, you'll have to let each other know in here when you see the chat scroll, or watch the facebook page.
The downtime is to transfer all of the files to ProC. Don't forget to update your bookmark links after the maintenance. ProC will be who you reach out to when you have issues with the game from now on. They seem to respond quickly on their official facebook page, if you have any issues with getting your tickets taken care of later. Best of luck to you all.

Daru, gold, lv2 exp scroll... That'll be the compensation for losing at least half a day. Many players will miss out on Hot Events for the day, and it's the sylph one (neutered a bit, but still a source of a ton of chests).
