I need help too.
My current formation is:
As can be seen from the screenshot I'm walled near 1200 Area.
Think of replacing Turps and Billy with Princess Val and Shadow Queen, but they both are currently on Mission.
I'm pretty certain there's better setup, but have no clue about it.

My 1401-1450 formation. Lingering Buffs was extremely useful here. I have it on level 3 and activating a bunch of buffs multiplied my dps by a couple 10^x. And with several thousands of buffs in stock you can increase your dps more or less as high as you want xD

My Phoenix is still on a mission. I managed to get to 1300 just using Chiyome and mimicing Milgrid and waiting until the snake and wizard died (like Fox Only) but 1301 won't work so I am stuck waiting for another 4 hours.
If you get stuck don't be afraid to empty your form, let the snake and wizard die and then re-add all of your gold crusaders for a quick boost.

Lingering (Edit: Buffs) was definitely the key here. I only have two levels, but had hundreds of each of the (edit: buffs) to burn, so it's getting me through it.
Not recommended if you have less than 2000 cumulative DPS (edit: buffs) to burn for this event (along with a similar number of each of the other (edit: buffs)).
Edit: Looks like you want around e349 to complete.

A few warps to build XP seems good but buffs are the main thing. I used the same method. For the bottom left slot that kep dying, I just swapped in buffers until the zone was passed. Needed babysitting for the
last 50 zones.

The strategy is the pointed from others - Lingering Buffs (DPS, Criticals, Siphon and Splash, Rares for 12 hours duration, Commons / Uncommons for 24 hours duration).

Seems like I shouldn't try until I have my level cap up to 9500 or so. Might be worthwhile to grab some cheaper levels of "Bonus Training" talent that I left at 6th level.
What I don't understand is why people use Karen the Cat Teenager/ Montana Jones . I've looked at their skills/talents/items and can't figure out what makes her better than other buffers? Maybe I just have to give them a go :)

She's in an otherwise empty spot, and can trigger fire storm in a pinch. (She stays alive due to her Center of the Universe ability.)

where priestess of time is, that is where you put wizard to activate alchemy, then take wizard out and put any crusader you want where my priestess of time is.
then when alchemy is out, use a delorean and put the wizard back in to use alchemy again.
then just rinse, and repeat!
i don't know how milgrid got up there, lol, i was mimicking milgrid and rex.
was easy up to 1401.
for the rest of the way, i figured out I could use alchemy to keep everyone alive.
you can even switch out the wizard and put a good crusader in while alchemy runs; then when alchemy wears out, put wizard back in and use alchemy again!
that let the 3 crusaders near the snake stay alive 60 seconds, more than enough to beat the level.
i did not disenchant anyone, and none of my legendaries are above L5 L5 L5.
i did not use lingering buffs trick, nor did i warp a whole bunch for storm rider.
(holy crap!? you guys wasted 24 hours of commons and 12 hours rare for buffs??)

So using buffs that come from silver chests is wasting them but burning through deloreans that come from jewelled chests is somehow a valid strategy?

Besides Karen's Center of the Universe receives healing from Phoenix, meaning you can position her where Phoenix couldn't get her healed.
Besides Karen and Montana have some good Ls that contribute well to Phoenix.
Besides Karen and Montana have not positional Abilities, giving boosts no matter where they are in the formation.

I don t got problem cuz I didn t completed even croakchief at mugwarts :).
Dr evil phd+milgrid+mindy? that s tons dps.
Do you tried roborabbit+jack o latern?. the jack will tank many ones while roborabbit will store and then will kill bosses.

Well, I didn't use any (like many others, I suppose). Had to dis-re-enchant thought, and I hate that part of the game. Noticed that you can skip animations now, so I guess CNE now openly endorses that. That's lame too, it means they recognize that the whole Legendary Levels concept is flawed (and I agree).
They remedied to that firebombing cheat crap, now time to do something about mats and L equip.
Bullet Hell was, on the other hand, a piece of cake.
Back to one run per week, boring enough as it is.

I just finished.
For the last 50 stages I used Penny, Phoenix, Brogon as my front line with Eiralon and Sissaron as the buffers behind them. I don't bother disenchanting so I used them because those are my highest legendaries.
The advantage of that lineup was that I could let the enemies build up across the front row as they were all being healed and then drop Pete into one of the empty back slots to temporarily raise my DPS from e344 to e354 to insta kill everyone and complete the stage.
Final stats on Phoenix was 33xp and level 9625.

I don't understand this either. If I happen to be doing a challenge or a hard objective during an event, I'm happy to burn warps like crazy (and in fact that's why I generally put off doing newly released objectives.) Burning warps off-event always seems like a waste to me, while I literally have more buffs than I know what to do with.

Seems like I'm screwed. With only 8400 levels I cant ever hit 1300. And how many buffs I have to spam in order to get 1e25% total DPS? Insanity amount. Crap Seems like I have to break ant start to collect buffs and levels. And improve L's to 6 - 7 level as well.
