Hail Crusaders!
You may have heard whispers about "uncapped objectives" swirling around this year and wondered what they were. Well, wonder no more! It's time do descend into The Dungeons!
What are the Dungeons you might ask? Well, it's a set of 10 new objectives for you to enjoy, with a major bonus: no maximum DPS cap! That's right, you can now see how far your formation building will take you without running into an invisible wall!
You can find all the details on our [official blog](http://www.codenameentertainment.com/?page=idle&post_id=1061#blog) or in the in-game FAQ!

Just a quick heads-up, the Making Waves dungeon is the Search for Simon maps and story, so you can get the missing achievement there! I tested it by sending Sjin in by himself, and at area 25 he defeated the boss and the achievement was awarded. (This also works on 75, 125, etc.)

Is there a preference which dungeon i should do first?
There are 3 golden, 1 with Bonus Idols, 1 with coins and one with points

While I am happy for new content, I am worried that this will create an impossible balancing act of idol farming/dungeons/events/missions. If every week we can do tons of runs in the dungeon which by design are meant to be long runs, I think it will negatively affect other progression. Just doing challenges alone is a 48 hr window.
It is early, and nobody has much experience yet, so maybe my fears are unfounded, but I really don't want to feel like I have to have my computer on 24/7 just to keep up.
As for meggy, I think I would base it on what you need most: if you are in need of idols to get a couple more upgrades, maybe do that first. If there are a lot of good things to buy in the store, boosted coins might be a higher priority. The only suggestion I have is I plan to wait to do the boosted points until after my first run to see what my baseline is.
Edit: is the dungeon store not available yet? I have clicked it and nothing happened...

Well, dungeons are based for end-game.
Doing the bonus idol missions for those over 1q idols once awards more idols than 10x end run farming, also most of us have all objective completed, have plenty saders for missions and do new tier events in a couple of days and challenge in 8-10h (being really lazy).
I was about to quit the game, but lets see if I can pick up that Lil' reaper taskmaster, which is cute.
Each time u reset the golden swap places so is just a preference of what do u want to do.
I think the store is now open, but items there are meh. so far.

Apparently the store opens when you complete one, because mine is not yet open.
It's a good idea to swap the golden at every reset.
15/week seems a bit overwhelming, I agree.

Thanks, this formation is better :)

Thank you

The Shop was bugged at launch, but if you reload the game, you should be able to open it. We got that sorted out last night.
Thank you for the feedback on the runs per week. We'll continue monitoring as the season progresses.

btw, when you "fixed the shop" and i reloaded, i lost my saved formations that i made for the new dungeon run!
luckily, it was my first run, and i was still on it when i reloaded the game, so i just made my saved formations again, but still!

As noted in the version .248.1 changelog, the formations weren't saving properly. You'll need to remake any previously saved formations once you reload the game into the newest version.

Nice but DPS of Lingering Buffs got impaired, becoming additive.
Let's hope we will see Lingering Buffs DPS rework and revamp along with new talents coming soon, this would help with novice players with low idol count or low-end gears to finish T3 & T4 11th objectives burning out many DPS buffs later on.

Wow, feels really good to see that I am able to get like e^40 more than my dps cap... but also crushingly depressing to realize that my account actually kind of sucks. I thought of myself as a late midgame player and this update has forced me to reevaluate. My dps cap was stopping me at about 3250, and I am currently at 3400 area, but that is only 19 points and 8 coins. Not sure exactly where I will get stopped, so maybe I will be able to get another few hundred areas further, but reaching 25 seems like a pipe dream.
Does anyone know if the points for later levels go up, or are all levels 500 points each?

So we need 162,500 dungeon points to get to Level 25, that is 2000 points a day at 81.25 days. I am getting about 1200 points a day (600ish a dungeon, 15 dungeons total a week, takes half a day anyways) and have 236T idols. I should just give up now and focus on more idols. Are vets with 1q idols getting the 2000 points a day, that is a lot of focus on this game for 81 days straight, that is a heck of a feat... either that I am totally missing something.
I am at the end game and this dungeon thing made it more entertaining, however it is just discouraging that I gotta put a ton of effort into it (clock is ticking), and still not come close to getting level 25. Looks like, I will go back to regular grinding for the next dungeon, just hate having to use a dedicated computer for it. I was getting about 15T idols a day, 53 days to get to 1q idols, also a ton of effort but I am not on a clock and can miss days. Doing dungeons with the idol 3% (I get 1.65%) gets me about 3.5T idols, 7T a day, not as fast as my 15T a day.

Well, I have to agree. New dungeons are fun, but not worth time and effort needed to finish questline it in time. As a casual player I do 1-2 runs per day and appearantly it's not enough. Rewards are also nothing special, at least in free version.

Is it normal that formations, once saved, disapear on reset ? I made twice the same run and could not keep the saved formation. If you have to make multiple runs, as is said above, it is so annoying to have to remember it all. Especially if you make more than one on the same run !

I have 3q+ idols. This means a good run on the dungeon idol bonus formation gives 150t+ idols. Clearly that's better. I'm not as active on this game anymore, so doing a longer run suits me better. Although I guess there will be players who can bash out 3 of those in a 24 hour period. But I definitely agree with you about the 162,500 points. That simply requires too much committment over 12 weeks.

Correction - I get about 70t idols currently per run. I would get 150t if the idol bonus was 3%. But 2.1% is my highest so far.

Doing this formation, switching out Euodia for Sashimi, I get 1.07e1203 with 253T idols, I get 821 dungeon points and at level 6259. Also, 20 dungeon coins.
I have all legendary equpiment for each crusader in the formation (except Imani's blade, Drosenthes leaf and rat, Milgrid's choker and wand, and Karen's notebook - none of which would be major), and the important ones are at level 8.
I also have the normal buffs active (not much invested in lingering).
I didnt get any percentage for idols, because I was testing what is possible, this objective had no bonus for me.
This is also again very discouraging, as you need at least 1000 points a run, and I am getting max 821.

Don't forget that you can buy runs as well. At 20 tokens a run that's an extra 6 runs you can buy after your original 15. Those 6 runs will give you an extra 2 runs with 20 tokens left over. Those 2 runs plus the 20 leftover tokens will be one extra run. Total of 24 runs a week.

thats really nice, but 24 runs a week means 3-4/day. the average player is unable to do so (should have the PC 24/7 on, miss all the events and stuff and would be a close call btw

i suspect with power creep all rewards will become obtainable over the course of the season... though the rewards themselves remain underwhelming
