With the eventual shutdown of these forums and chat features, players seeking advice, codes, crusader chat and just general chit chat should consider making use of the fan-run Cotli Discord channel. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and helpful in there, and it is also where all the big brains that come up with the best formations are, so it is definitely worth checking out!

I don't know what that means beyond that. You might keep the same mods, you might get new ones, you might not get any at all. Hard to say. But the chat and forums are staying.

For now at least, which is certainly a blessing I for one did not expect!
I certainly hope that people remain here for as long as possible and continue to make use of all the features for as long as we have them, and encourage people to do so, I surely will continue here until as close to the end as I can, but with the impending shutdown of Flash, and the uncertain nature of the forum and chat's futures with no guarantee on them remaining even in the short term, having alternative places to share our love of Cotli, prepare for the future and remain in contact with friends and advisors we've made during our time here will go a long way.

Well said, NubbingIt. I hope a lot of people feel the way you do. There's still a lot of value in this community. Despite its issues, this is a very good community. I've worked in PR of some sort or another most of my adult life. I've dealt with a lot of different communities. This one really is very, very good. It's very positive, supportive, playful and generally people here operate with dignity and respect for each other as best they can.
It seems right to continue to make the most of this community, as has been done for years, until whatever happens does happen. This community has contributed to a lot of people's enjoyment over the years. I feel we owe it something for that.

I agree. I just started the game in January at the end of Chrismas event so missed it. But have learned a lot from the vets here and check the forums regularly for new ideas.
