Being a mod is often a thankless job, you can't do right for doing wrong and you can never please everyone. That being said there are a lot of people who do quietly apreciate the effort. Since we're soon to lose this place I think its high time to say a little thank you for looking after the forum.
Alagamer is the name I've seen most, so gets the big shout out, but this goes for any mod who's been in on the fun too over the years.
So thanks again all, I wish you all the best.

Very true. I've had moderator given to me on several forums, and I turned down a mod position on Kongregate because of just how much work it can be. Even though I was a very easy going moderator most of the time it's still a big time/energy eater.
So thank you to Alagamer and Havarie and any other mods for your selfless work. People don't even realize it a lot of the time the effort that goes into it, so, I appreciate it.

I second this, the mods here have done an amazing job as well as being amazing people, and I have a great deal of appreciation for them and the investments they put into what they do. I wish all of the moderation staff across Kongregate best wishes for the future and wherever you may end up may you be happy and fulfilled.

What the hell...I love the mods too!
They will impose their will in a new forum out there somewhere, or maybe they could mod a new cne or even player run phpbb!

Thank you for your kind words, @astart, fate and nubbing. To be honest, it was a job I enjoyed doing and will probably continue to do until the blinds here go down.
