Hi everyone I am Jon (retired leader of Family). Family was once a small guild. However with the hardwork of many leaders and officers, it has grown to the powerhouse today. Despite our growth, our motto remains the same which is to have fun and help each other grow in this game like a virtual FAMILY. Our Guild also consists of real FAMILY (Father and sons, husband and wives, cousins all playing in the same guild). While we have fun, we will strive to compete. Below is a very short summary of the history of Family guilds. If I were to write everything, it will be longer than 7 seasons of Game of Thrones. Judge for yourself if it is worth joining. We have the richest history in Spellstone. # **History of Family** Family guilds was originally created by Estarody sometime in Spet 2015. It is the oldest guild in Spellstone now.. All the other big powerhouse guilds from around the same time does not exist anymore (Dire Tide, Blacklotus, Elite etc). It was 4th in the Arcantica Guild war in oct 2015. It won the first ever Raid (Frostbite Raid). After the raid, Estar was busy and appointed a temp leader (name X) to take care of Family guilds while he was away. He then lied to the players and ask everyone to join Blacklotus. Only he and his friends (6 of them) join the first guild of Blacklotus while the rest was thrown to other lotus feeder guilds. It was an attempt to defeat Dire Tide which they failed. **Some of us chose to stay behind and in Dec 2015, we only had 8 players left including me and estar. Together we rebuild Family guilds.** From 8 , slowly and painfully we grew back to 50. In Jan 2016, we got 71st for our first guild war back as Family. Next guild war, we score the rank of 13 and the following raid - Nethergore Raid we did rank 15. Then we had so many players who wanted to join us that we started 2 other sister guilds. In Mar 2016, 3 months after we were down to 8 players, we reached the top 10 - Rank 9 in Elements GW. Then in April we reach 2nd in Frog honor guild clash. Through the journey, we were friendly with many guilds but we rejected all offers of merge as we wanted to stay independant with our own values. Dire Tide offer to merge with us too. At that time, under their leader (name M) , they use a lot of underhand tactics (including spying) so there were a number of guilds who formed together and called themselves the rebel alliance ( Dragon Spirit, Family, Elite, Germany, Spellstone, Defenders, Hussars just to name a few). These guilds are still independant but work together (loan players etc) to help Dragons in attempt to beat DT. The goal was not achieve but most of the leaders grew closer to each other. Finally, We did our first merge with Defiant Tadpoles (who had many strong players poached by DT). Their leader groupie was a nice guy and share many values with us and he approached us so we agreed. Today it is called Iron Tadpoles Family (ITPF). Dragon spirit (who then merge twice and finally became Black Dragon) been fighting with DT for a long time (about 1 year ++) and came close a few times but still could not get #1. The leader got tired and decided to quit. Before he quit, he then suggested to merge into Family too and finally I agreed. I did it because The leader Master Junko was a good friend and help Family guilds a lot when we were working hard to rise up in ranking. He was going to quit and Dragons did not have any sister guilds. I also wanted to allow our strong players a chance to be able to compete for #1, something which is difficult for family guild if we still stay independant. **So finally Dragons Family was formed. We did a lot of hardwork and we finally beat DT. The only guild in spellstone history to do it. Many contributed to this but 2 guys deserve mentioning as without them , I believe it would take us even longer to be able to do this. ** First is Zypher (retired Dragon Fammily leader) who is known as deck wizard by many players in Family. He is known for his deck building skills. More importantly, he was willing to spend the time to help many players (many family players not only DF players) build their deck. Second is Sench (everyone knows him). He is very smart and has vast knowledge of different skills and cards. Many oithers contributed to our success and it will be 2 pages of names if I wrote everyone down. Along the way, lots of other guilds joined us and now 4 years later, we are the strongest in Spellstone. The latest to join us NOW and WE are proud to welcome them is a bunch of nice merry guys and girls from 7th FTMFW who just merge with the original Family guild - Family INC. **Together they have formed Family FTMFW Inc. ** # **Values of Family** Our leadership team always believe in committing to players success without worrying about how much money they spent. We believe in a strong family friendly gaming community who listen and respect each other. We do not welcome rude and obnoxious players (unless they repent) who feel their money gave them the right NOT to respect others. We do not welcome those who use obscenity if the leaders do not bend to their wills. We do not actively go out and slander/spy on other guilds but we will defend against those who try to slander or spy on us. We respect each individual wishes and try to accomodate everyone as much as possible. We believe in a system of fair promotion and demotion based on your event results and not $$ spent and that is why even F2P can play for Dragons Family as they are excellent players. We believe that the strongest players should be given a chance to compete at the highest level and not be held back by the rest of the guilds.We believe that weakest players should be given a chance to play in a lower guild or they will feel bad holding up the rest of the guilds. We respect wishes of each indivdual so players like Risingblue and sebi still stay in Wervik family (their wishes) even their results consistenly allows them to play for DF. Others like to take it easy and play casually in our causal guilds. Everyone is given a chance to chose what they want to do with their game. While many guilds do not exist anymore, we still respect those who want to keep their names (Asia America Family leader requested us to keep their name even after he quit). We also respect if their leader decided to close their guild and not keep their name anymore (example Lumberfoot) While their name may not exist anymore, We still remember them. Lumberfoot brought us many fantastic players but most importantly it brought us the 3rd Generation leader for Family. **Don Hunnam is our current Overall Family leader and he was originally an officer of Lumberfoot. ** Our current guilds are Competitive ( 4 in top 10 and 6 in top 20) Dragon Family ( Merge of Dragon Spirit, Elite, Good side of Blacklotus and Family players) Family FTMFW (For The MistErica Family win) INC ( Merge of Family and FTMFW players) IronTadpole Family ( Merge of Iron Throne and Defiant tadpoles) WerVik Family (Merge of Werhase and Vikings) Prestlie Close Family (Merge of Prestlie and Close Family) Causal AsiaAmerican Family Headhunters Family Kids Family (starter guild) ** Joining the oldest and Strongest Alliance is easy.
