Killing it before it activates. or sniping the commander prior to it playing.

evidence of the 2 things i mentioned earlier...and the infinitely looping structure is kind of unfair imo, how can you reliably kill a 1-delay super tough unit that most likely will be protected by 150+ (also...jamming won't stop the summon), it feels luck based since if it drops on turn 1, then you don't have a reasonable chance to stop it, you'd need an already stablished board (regardless of the overall strategy for the mutant), even thinking of inhibit doesn't cut it, you have 1 turn to either stop it or you lose

Only Cain's Assembly-1 Summons itself on death, other levels will Summon a copy of one less level.
Well, now I wonder what was the *solution* that defeated Cain's Industry before it activated.

Well, there is a very easy solution out there to beating Cain mutant (f2p).
A hint: look for something with Flurry.

Prixes worldbender is the answer to all, heh I hope so
If it gets a buff and thats what I'm waiting for.

Welp, that was not an answer I anticipated...
Is Cain's Industry intended to be an instant-surrender once it manages to slip over all the buildups before?
If not, when did on death Summon changed to trigger after all the extra actions by Flurry?

I can confirm the bug with avalanche mutant. I get the wrong image card as well and the game then crashes, I only get out of it by surrendering. If I just reload the game it gets stuck again. I play on android.

what does it matter to kill it before activation? it summon on death. activation has nothing to do with it

Cain's Assembly summons itself on death, and is a wall.
i dunno if its by design, but once it is played you have lost. You cant kill it and hit the commander anymore.

Ok guys, seems to be a lot of confusion on the Imp mutant (Assembly).
Here's some clarification on how it works (note, this is intended even though it may seem unfair).
The assault summons the wall (lvl 6) on activation.
Then each time you kill the wall it will go down one level so lvl 6 => on death summon lvl 5 => on death summon lvl 4 => on death summon lvl 3 => on death summon lvl 2 => on death summon lvl 1.
Once it hits lvl 1 it will endlessly summon itself on death.
There are 2 ways to beat this thing:
1) kill the assault before it activates (it's a 1cd so gotta be quick), then no walls are spawned
2) Flurry skill => Flurry's first attack will hit the wall and it should die, then the 2nd Flurry (and 3rd) can hit the enemy commander. Keep the Flurry card alive until it flurries again.

If you kill Cains Industry before it activates, it doesn't play the wall.

thanks for the clarification, although i find it odd that you guys had to go to such lenghts for the winning strategy (against 1 card, not the entire mutant) to be THAT specific, i mean...all the mutants seem to require heavily specialized decks to be able to deal with the mutant's strategies that only have 1 real weakness that we either exploit or we lose
also...your previous hints also made me realize how i won in that confusing 1st match against cain since the structure did get summoned, i was running a kinirok that time

thats generally not how On Death works. Was this made to specifically wait for activation even though On Death notmally does not?

The assault does not summon on death, rather when it activates. The assault summons the structure, which summons itself on death. If you kill the assault before it activates, the structure is not summoned (and no endless-cycle is perpetuated, on death etc.).

Cain really is the easiest of the mutants imho since it allows structures to be played. Now with Megamorphosis bge cards like AD4M can get really dangerous and p2p can just strike it down (thanks Ultimata). It's the only mutant I was able to beat without sims (20/100 so far), but atm I'm not confident to find a solution for the others on my own as well. I can recommend Arsha here and I'm sure once we get Prixis buffed it will also work on Cain.

20/100? What deck do you use to do this? I might win one, rarely 2, per 650 energy using Arsha as my attacker. I might just be unlucky though

well, cain is lowest for me, i got vulcan up to lvl4 with my raider/rightgeous deck and a whole lot of luck. right now i've switched to bloodthirsty as i think i may see a working stratagey. But before i get hopes up, let me try it first when my energy recharges.

if you'd like a hint for a possible solution to blightbringer mutant, weaken + summon. If you are lucky you can flank the cards, your cards wont even get attacked, and if you choose wisely then the enemy mimic will weaken your cards too so that you dont kill ANY cards and therefore the cavewurm (absorb/barrier/avenge) wont be able to kill your cards. Just an idea ;)

I'm using p2p cards like Yurichs Observatory, Inhalers and the fresh buffed Ultimata along with arsha and it does pretty well so far. I'd love to add ADAM but atm I'm not perticularly drowning in SP and try to save a bit. I'm sorry I cant give you a f2p solution atm.

Interesting idea, thanks. Now I need some cards with Weaken lol.

Got seraph mutant to 9 using HyperSec hunter and turbulent cloudburst with Darius caporegime, then lvl 10 onwards added virklaw and intestine inhaler but suspect there are better options if you sim

How many cloudbursts?

Just the one, have found a better combination now using silent assassin, HyperSec hunter, xenbot alpha, silent assassin

Who knows what cards are needed for Armada / Vulcan / Cain? I only defeated the blightbringer.

So supposedly the trick to Cain Mutant was supposed to be using a flurry card to break though the endless summon wall and instakill the commander.
The problem with this is when using cards like Arsha,Rocket Ranger etc after killing the wall the next wall is immediately summoned and the flurry hits the new wall instead of the commander.
