Hi, I have a question about TUO sim:
I was looking for a deck to beat Mesmerize Mutant-9, to gain Prixis Quad. So I simmed with these parameters:
Mode: Battle, **Operation: Climb**, Dominion: dom-owned, Endgame: Maxed Units, Order: Ordered, Iterations: 5000, Fund: 15000
It found a deck with 20% winrate (yes, 20%). So I checked that with using the recommended deck and using these parameters:
Mode: Battle, **Operation: Sim**, Dominion: dom-owned, Endgame: Maxed Units, Order: Ordered, Iterations: 100000 (for precise result), Fund: 0
but this sim has only 1,9% winrate but it was the same deck that TUO recommended me few minutes ago with climb feature.
Then I changed the Climb to Climbex and it found deck with 4% winrate. So I checked that with sim and it really has 4%. Am I using "climb" wrong (maybe because I don't understand it?) or is it TUO bug?

First: why you think you get Prixis quad for beating Mutant-9? You have to beat level 10 - 40 times.
Can you post the simmed deck & screenshot your TUO settings.

Appearantly the nuthugger above me doesn't know how to read TUO settings, but he's right about having to beat level 10 40 times for the Prixis quad.
Anyways, below is the answer to your questions/concerns
Climb sucks broski, use climbex. Your issue pops out like a sore thumb, it the amount of iterations, I suggest you raise them to around 7000 for that particular mutant.
Also, quick tip for those, start your level 9 sim at level 3 (or something you beat 50%) and then increase level incrementally, changing your seed as you move back up to level 9.
Ex. Sim for level 3. Use that result as a seed deck to sim for level 4. Then use the level 4 result to sim for level 5 and so forth until you reach level 9.
Hope this helps.

- Go to https://github.com/APN-Pucky/tyrant_optimize/releases/.
- Download the latest version (currently it is `tuo.v2.61.4_32+64_bit.zip`).
- Unpack it to whereever you want.
- Paste you owned cards into `[unpacked dir]/data/ownedcards.txt` (otherwise sim will use all the cards are present in the game)
- Paste some decks into `[unpacked dir]/data/customdecks.txt` (e.g. this one https://www.kongregate.com/forums/2468-general/topics/697766-sim-f2p-p2w-gauntlet-last-updated-2018-08-07, but unfortunately it is pretty outdated)
- Launch SimpleTUOptimizeStarter.exe
- Press `Update XMLs` in the topbar and wait a bit while all xml files will be updated with actual ones, you will be prompted
- Enter your oher parameters and *viola*
- Refer to https://github.com/APN-Pucky/tyrant_optimize/wiki/Flags to find all extra parameters (entered into a special field in the ui) which you can use

Hi there! Thanks to DR_F3LL for keeping TUO alive :)
So, I'm back.
No, I'm not planning to seize the TUO maintaining, unless DR_F3LL is not ready to support it anymore.
@DR_F3LL, I just reviewed changes made for the last year, this is great work! Keep it up!

When simming, you dont need to input into the window except when it tells you to press any key, right?
Also, is the thread number is related to the number of cores your cpu has?
Shite, 10,000 iterations means it sims that for every single change it makes?

I guess you're using the SimpleTUOptimizeStarter.exe, then you can just wait for the results.

Yes. You can try more threads than the cores of your CPU, but that will probaly slow down the sim.

10k is fine for simming against a single enemy deck, such as a mutant or raid boss. If you're simming against multiple decks, it tends to run much slower than adding more iterations. In other words, 10 enemy decks at 1k iterations will typtically run a lot slower than 1 enemy at 10k.

Yeah, noticed that. 45min to do a gauntlet at 10k. 30 min to to the same gauntlet at 1k.

hy guys. back from 2 years of break from TU.
i did search for gauntlets but could find only the oldest ones, even before the cards got buffed. Where I can find a gauntlet that its mostly updated?

Is there an easy way to have multiple owned cards.txt and only have TUO sim based on one of them? My brother was wondering if I could sim his deck for him. And I'm the only one with a pc (laptop)

Give your brothers "ownedcard.txt" another name and use this flag: -o="PathtoTUOdatafolder\ownedcards_bro.txt"

Wait... just replace the bro in _bro.txt with whatever I name his file as? In other words, that flag is telling TUO to use (x) file for the ownedcards function rather than the default ownedcards.txt?

Bingo. However, the inventory file must start with "ownedcards_"
