**Torment** - has a nice max dps which is great for both hordes and bosses. Its slow projectiles can be both an advantage and disadvantage. Disadvantage is it wouldn't be as useful as other endgame weps for rushing missions like pods but the advantage is its good for defensive purposes and keeping killing spree alive which is great for apocalypse. For me this is best with assault character because of adrenaline and killing spree. But I'm gonna warn you that this weapon isn't great without augment cores. (need rps).
Augments:
- Deadly
- Overclocked
3rd and 4th augs:
- Pinpoint, when you have max crit skill, this might be better to replace adaptive.
- Adaptive(optional), You would need this at first if your torment has few to no cores, but remove it when you get enough cores and rocket mastery lvl 5.
- Capacity, I recommend this the most as a 3rd or 4th aug together with biosynthesis especially if you're using assault.
- Biosynthesis (Because of the long range slow projectiles, this can heal you faster than most weapons on apocalypse, but ofc don't get this if you're a medic)
**CM proton arc** - has the highest DPS on mobile version but only limited to a single target, so its great against bosses but terrible against hordes. The laser is autoaim and would pickup the nearest zombie in a certain radius , this is both an advantage and disadvantage. It would continue to shoot even if the player hids behind a wall (I'm not sure if this applies to mobile version). A well augmented and cored proton arc combined with heavy/assault dps booster skills + max crit points can kill nm sav devastator/necrosis elites in less than 3 seconds. "Piercing" aug has no use on this weapon since it's only limited to a single target. In my opinion, you need max crit for this.
Augments:
- Deadly
- Overclocked
- Adaptive (You probably won't need this if you're a medic with biobomb build)
4th augments:
- Pinpoint (yea criticals for faster boss kills)
- Capacity (If you're using a medic, you need this to counter medic's low DPS.)
**Zerfallen** - This weapon is hard to manage, you need specific skillpoints and armors to use it properly (You need max reload reduction and decent movement speed). Although this weapon is great when used properly, *I wouldn't recommend this.*
The damage of zerfallen is divided from phasing through the target and explosion damage (When hit on walls).
If you don't have max reload reduction and decent movement speed, this weapon is only limited to support role. It would one-shot most zombies in its path, even some non-savage bosses.
Zerf is my favorite weapon on PC version.with the exploitable glitches, you could have 4 ammos/magazine with the core glitch and you can have up to 53/mag with the ammo box glitch.
**These are the best uses of zerf:**
1.) With a decent movement speed, you can actually use the huge projectile as a shield by running along with it. This can be useful on Last man standing and Apocalypse.
2.) Projectiles can pin zombies in place that survived the shot for 2-3 seconds, also it would make them unable to use melee attacks at the same time. However, this doesn't work against zombie mechs and necro spawns.
3.) With a great movement speed and max reload, this weapon can be great for rushing. With the absence of Championship weapons on mobile, only few weapons would rival this.
Augments:
- Deadly (optional on non-nightmare runs)
- Overclocked (This is needed if you're gonna use this as a main weapon, but don't get it if you're gonna use it for utility purposes.)
- Race Modded (Extemely important)
**4th augs:**
- Skeletonized, I recommend this if you don't have a good movement speed when you're using zerf as a main weapon, don't get this maxed if you have Heavy's passive skill for movement penalty reduction.
- Biosynthesis, for healing (Don't get this if you're a medic)
- Adaptive, Very optional but not needed if your zerfallen is max cored. Rocket Mastery for resistance reduction is more than enough to compensate, I wouldn't recommend this.
- Pinpoint, Crit can be nice against bosses and zombies(apocalypse) that doesn't die in 1 shot)
(For all premium weapons above, **use HD ammos**, they're cheap especially zerfallen's ammos)
