I think that Midas should be like Cid: Cid is the only hero that upgrades the player’s click. Each time you upgrade him, your click damage goes up.
For Midas, I think your gold percentage should go up just a little. That way you could continue to level him up and reap some benefits for doing so. Might be something to do even after Frostleaf. It shouldn’t be game breaking (don’t make it too much of a percentage), but he gives so little DPS to begin with he’d be better as just a money guy.

for a hero’s 5th or 6th ability, don’t make it +100% his own dps…. for the earlier heros, that does absolutely nothing. By the time you get enough money to buy that, your already 5 heros past that hero. It should be more consistent, where the 5th or 6th ability of every hero increases DPS of all heros.

@olinn: As I said, I tested this before talking. When you almost kill the weak ones in one second the strong ones take still much time to kill. I was killing 1 monster per second (so the G/S is just the gold dropped) and I killed a strong monster, counting how much seconds it took and the gold dropped: by the time I killed one single strong monster I would have killed a lot of weak ones (I don’t remember how many), giving me more gold. It wasn’t a lot more but still it was more. I have to do this often, so I thought it would be easier for me to just have a text saying me the G/S instead of having to calculate it everytime. Also, I think it’s better having this than the useless monster’s level that is always the same as the stage number.
@todbr: you don’t have to wait to kill one. As I said in my unnoticed comment (not the post) the time to kill a monster is
MonsterHP / DPS
because there isn’t armor or anything else to consider. Also note that the clicks doesn’t count (you should know why).

How about an endgame boost for early heroes? Maybe a lvl 700 skill that would massively up their damage, just enough so that at the end your damage isn’t solely based on the last hero? This could also be done by a skill on a single hero that boosts the other heroes damage based on level or something.

I would suggest removing the offline farming. It makes the game less interactive, too automatic and less fun. Sleep for 1 night, lots of money.. I loved how this game didn’t have it ;(
And maybe add more achievements to up goals! ^^

A cool feature for this game would be a main hero that you could equip items on.
All monsters has a chance to drop loot.
Have the normal item attributes like common, rare, epic, legendary.
Legendary would be special items with things like +1 extra click/tick every second and a secondary stat for gold.
Another good legendary would be a increased chance to get a primal boss. Would also only drop from bosses and be very rare.
Other items could give more damage, gold, higher click damage and such. Doesnt have to be big bonuses, but would be something more to farm for :-)
Example: Common 1%, rare 2%, epic 3%, legendary 5% of gold or damage and such.
If you want to go really far, you could add levels to this hero with a talent tree. Doesnt have to be easy to gain one level, meaning it could take 3 resets and such before even 1.
Guess some optimization would be required :-)

Instead of removing the the offline farm, you should make us earn less gold when offline. Maybe 10% of the original amount?

Quests? Or something of similar concept.
Like the gifts and achievements combined.
Quests would be a mission you have to complete.
Pretty much a repeatable achievement.
You would only have access to 1~3 quests at a time, and every time you completed them, you would get a reward, maybe a temporary boost, or some hero souls.
Generally, something that you can do, besides from achievements when you only have the most annoying (cough cough 100k hero levels) achievements left

This seems really silly; it just encourages people to leave their computers on overnight and waste electricity.

seeing as this is an idle game both of these ideas would be geared more to a game you have to actively play, which is purpose defeating for an idle game. if you don’t want to idle on a game then why play idle games to begin with???

May I suggest faster spawn times. I also like the idea of Midas giving gold based on his level as you level him (like cid) and what ddsw1b said in relation to a hero’s higher abilities providing over all DPS gain or something more useful.

This could be interesting. Like adding an exp bar to heroes level them up instead of just waiting for the amount of gold and also giving each hero like maybe one or two equip slots for random loot drops.

My idea is maybe adding other things to do in the game. Like maybe a speed run mode or like a boss fight challenge where you can see how long it takes it you kill a bunch of bosses in a row starting from level 5 up to maybe like level 160 or whatever level it takes to unlock this.
