Hi Guys,
You might forget about me , but im one of Epic War creator.
My team have plan to re-release Epic War Saga on Kong and our own website.
We wanna know your opinion and expectation about this . What do you want us to improve the game ( except the graphics ) ?

Awesome!
I love Epic War so much =D
However, one thing i've always hated in the epic wars is how the units sometimes get turned around and aim the wrong way. So maybe add some way to lessen the chances of units being "blown up" and ending up behind enemy lines. (this happens a ton with succubus and bomb type attacks)
Try to make units explode backwards into their own army.
And if enemies and allies do get behind each other, just make them charge foward and attack. Never attack backwards. (it's especially dumb when a titan or hero or giant cannon/catapult attacks backwards to hit 1 tiny goblin who would have just been killed anyway by other troops that are coming onto the field)
The same thing with the fire elemental titan. He does his fire tornado attack, but gets stuck in the middle of enemies. The way I would change him is to make him always do 2 tornados. 1 forward, then 1 back to his starting spot.
Maybe make it so units that get mixed in and have enemies on both sides, auto retreat (back to their army) while attacking foward.
Another issue I'd like changed in EW is how to farm EXP/GOLD. I'd like it if every map in the game can get "mined out" and in order to grind more exp/gold you need to go to a different map.
I just think its boring to have 1 map to figure out how to grind, when instead you reward the player for finding out how to grind every map well.

Oh wow. I totally thought you moved on from flash games (I heard you sold the EW series somewhere although I wasn't sure if it were true or not).
One of the things I'd like to see changed (I can't say if it's an improvement or not) is the removal of the hero unit which appeared in the later part of the series since while they started out kind of strong, they ended up being super vulnerable and losing the level if your hero died did get kind of old. I mean it was fun to have it at first, but it just felt power creep ended up making it so blah.
I really did enjoy the series, and pretty much any other complaints I may have would already be addressed in FateIsEscaped post.

Oh yeah, hero units. They were almost always too vulnerable so you mostly just let the hide fairly far back.
Maybe change hero units into "the castle" , and remove the castle? That way the hero is the one to defeat? (and he will have huge HP) Basically have the hero stay back (not controllable) and be the final thing to kill on each side, and when enemies get close, the hero attacks?
Perhaps have us use multiple heroes that protect the edge of the map? Or 2 at a time to make combos a thing? I'll have to go back and play some EW to recall how things worked. (I enjoyed all the EWs)

For notes, the one will relaunch is Epic War Saga . We will first try to relaunch as it is . From that , we will update the content on game mode and try to improving the game.
So if you are EW Saga players, give feedback based on that as the game page has been deleted so i lost the user feedback .
Beside old features , what would you guys want to have on EW SAGA?
@FlyingCat : as i remembered , i never sold Epic War series, our coder first want to try export it on WebGL instead of flash .

Yeah iirc EW Saga uses Unity Web Player (UWP), but UWP is dead, can't connect to UWP's servers to download and update anymore.
If you plan to switch to WebGL or Unity WebGL, please make it compactible for NVIDIA GeForce 8500 graphics card, I think it supports up to WebGL 1.0, so if the game uses graphics for WebGL 2.0, I won't be able to play it. :(

Oh oops sorry. I though you were talking about the Epic War Saga as in the series (i.e. Star Wars Saga) instead of the game.

It's been a long time since I've played that, but I do recall it.
I do remember levels were a pretty big deal, but at the same time grinding for exp was also kind of meh later on if you were stuck. It would be nice if there was something you can upgrade in your city (or whatever it's called) that could provide some (upgradeable) passive exp over time to not get rid of the grind, but rather to help supplement it.
I don't remember if there were difficulty levels on the stages, but it would be nice if "modifiers" such as double enemy HP/double enemy attack power/increased enemy spawn rates/etc. to increase difficulty were added to stages for additional rewards like money/exp to speed up the grind.
I don't recall it ever being a thing in Epic War Saga (although it's been a while), but in older EW games, there were these challenge battles that required some sort of a setup to finish, and it would be nice if a few puzzle-like gimicky challenge battles were added with that gave some kind of a commerative rewards (I honestly don't care if the rewards are trash, it would be fun to have the Super Goblin Rangers even if they're only as powerful as regular goblins).

I think that was Epic War VI that used Unity.

Make it like before. Also i would love a 2v2, 3v3 PvP match online let's say like with my friend vs two other online players using our units from the left side and others from right if it would be possible <3. Just so you know it was possible to use a program called "cheat engine" to cheat gems etc... It would be nice if it would have like some sort of protection against it.

if u add that online 2v2, 3v3 pvp with people that u choose to invite to your team and search for random enemies but they would be players not bots well the game would legit become better like a billion times

New content (cheapters, Caves of Trials, units, etc.) at time to time. But now I will be greatfull for relanch this game. This game is awesome and has potential. Mayby if this game will be still updated and keeped will have so many funs like for example Panoramik games (or she had/has). I dont remember tournament will be season or general? I thing season rewards has sense. Keeping players. And like nojus66 said online arena in future could be great. I remember units has elements. But this was on rule paper beat rock or not? Maybe go in this way. I dont remember or I stopped playing or this games was stopped. But is possible game which keeping players on years. Now this games "is" on android but is content which we can't download, and for example here https://www.silvergames.com/en/epic-war-saga but I can't sign up.
Edit: Maybe if is possible resolve download problem in EWS it will be faster possible play in this game.

Just try to make it less of a pay to play kind of model, but I understand you guys need to make money somehow so still havbing it is fine. I would like to see more units even though there are a ton. Also maybe implement some sort of different game mode since grinding the same level in story can get boring sometimes. Also i wanted to thank you for this, i've been waiting so long for something to show up about this amazing series!

No estimate date yet, our team still discuss if they are still using flash and port after relaunch or we are trying to work a little longer to release the game on WebGL .

Keep the grind as it is as that was a fun concept for me, but make it so that when you 3 star a level you have a higher chance of obtaining the items you need from that level(like a % increase of some sort)

Yes and keep the system of units stats grinding by acc level, its the best xp system

Thinking about it a bit, I do think it would be interesting if there were something like a synergy between units. For example if you used all units of X species or something, they may receive a buff or something like that which may encourage something like a thematic setup. That or certain units gain certain traits if they're paired up with certain other units in your setup (it would be kind of fun if you get some boost for only using units that appeared in EW1 for example).

While the grind was frustrating for me, I do see where you're coming from and it was a satisfying kind of frustrating.

the tribal thing is kind of in the game already, like you can run a thunder build with a lot of thunder + equipment if i remember right?

I guess that's undeniably true. I just think multiple different levels of synergies may make for fun strategies and strange counters. I used to run an all ranged unit build to prevent things from getting close (and enough arrows could safely ignore elemental resistances via bruteforce), but I could see how someone would like an all elements build, and ditto for an all X species build. I mean goblins were pretty weak, but I do like goblins, and I feel it would be appropriate to assume armies of the same race or something might work better together. Either that, or some units have some bonus that only become active if you come into battle with another specific unit which also gets stronger with the first unit.
