As a developer, Kongregate defined my career. Even with the other portals, nowhere else came close to the quality of feedback and community engagement in here.
With so many plays, I thought I'd be sad to let the Amberial series die along with Flash, so a few years ago I started a new version with modern graphics, refined mechanics, multiplayer, a new level editor and more. It has all been coming together nicely and even got a bit of recognition and press with the alpha versions.
Thank you to everyone who played the originals from 12 years ago! I promise the new version has a much more welcoming difficulty curve :P
