I play the Nutaku version of the game. I spent 15€ on the game on Black Friday, got Darya bundle and x64 boost and the rest i spent on time blocks.
The main reason i spent the rest of the diamonds on time blocks was because i thought I didn't want the game to be too easy and i sure as hell didn't know that the reset cap was x2048.
Hell I didn't even think the game had a soft cap.
Now i feel like the game sucks. Getting to lvl 60 hobbies is a pain but doable i suppose. I can get to the point where i unlock Karma and Sutra but leveling hobbies past lvl 60 is a big pain in the ass where i feel like there's nothing i can do.

There are 2 types of multiplier boosts.
Reset boost :
-Go to Stat's page and click Reset
-Will start your game over, but you still have diamonds, timeblocks, outfits, DLC.
-Will add the pending boost to the current boost
-You can add to this boost by purchasing it in the store(Skit Reset), but it's not the "Purchased" boost.
-Max'd at 2048
Purchased boost :
-Go to Store page - Boosts - Speed Boosts
-For diamonds you can buy a mulitplier
-Max'd at 8192
These 2 boosts multiply each other. So if you max both of them :
2048 X 8192 = 16,777,216 Times normal speed. Something that takes a year now finishes in less than 5 minutes.

I mean that's the problem isn't it? There's no free way to get Diamonds. So if i want to progress faster right now i have no option but to spend even more money.

You bought Darya, if you played her to lover level - then you have received hundreds of diamonds. Once you purchase Darya, you do not have to sink a single penny into the game to get speed boosts.
If you want the game to go faster "Right Now" without playing out Darya, then yes - you may need to purchase some more diamonds. But seriously - once you get Darya to Lover Level, you will receive enough diamonds to max out all boosts (16,772,216 Times normal speed) and still have enough to Gild every single job and Hobby.

On Nutaku & Steam, there is a free way to get diamonds, it's the Limited Time Events (LTE). But here on Kongregate you are SOL until the pandas come back and give us some lovin' again.

Too bad we don't have darya or limited time events here, no way to get enough free diamonds to get 8192x here as far as im aware.

Ahh, my apologies - we usually don't cross post between versions.
I can't promise anything just yet - but I have been working with Programmer Panda to get the Kongregate version more up-to-date. We have started the process and implemented a bunch of the code necessary to at least bring the bundles over to this version. Sadly, there are some inherent issues with the LTE that we need to resolve before it can be brought in :( but I'm not giving up on it yet!!
I really hope that early in the new year, you guys will see some of the updates and new changes. We have been able to implement a couple things already - the girl requirements being shown in the portrait list and the gilding of jobs, stay tuned for more !
