Hello I’ve just gotten to tier 3 and unlocked challenge mode. I was just wondering if people fancied sharing their blueprints used and how many orange cubes they get.
I only have one set up at the moment and it’s for hard. It brings in 550k in 1 min 20 seconds.
Hard:
Damage: 279
Attack speed : Max
Multishot chance: Max
Multishot targets: Max
Attack Range: Max
Impetus: 75
Rapid fire chance: 60
Rapid fire duration: 10
Darkness chance: 50
Please post your suggestions, Blueprints and anything else you’ve figured out about challenges. Richfest

Let’s start with why the hell is your rapid fire chance 60 and duration 10? it should be maximum 10% and 2sec if attack speed is at 10, since it will still be 100% of the time that way, also critical% and multiplier are very good, bounce will also help and impetus could be maxed as well.

I adapted the Insane tier up build. Put about 40% electricity aura, 20% universal aura, 5% regeneration and dumped literally the rest into HP. It’s got me a decent amount of statistic points.

Don’t forget Division Shield if you’re working on the Insane Challenge. Very powerful!

I added a factor of 10 on Division Shield to LixieLorn’s build before dumping the rest in Hitpoints, and that did the trick for me.

Interesting idea, I made it to wave 80 on insane using: 100 points in division shield, fortify chance, 75 points in electric aura, universal aura, 50 points in regen, and then enough in hp to reach 2k, the rest of the points in fort amount. Block may be a good addition to break wave 100, but really not required if you’re just going for the stat page bonuses. And really I think that setup would work for all the stat page challenges. If not for the high score page bugging out thinking the big wave scores are cheated, I think I’m actually #2 all time with wave 209 on insane challenge (Saw a 212 last week)

Just popping in since new players probably still use this thread to decide what print to use.
if your goal is special resources (The orange cubes) an attack focused build it more efficient than a def focused build
(i will be using metalheart321's reflect based insane build for my comparisons, since if you want a tankier build reflect + fortify is the way to go)
the build i was using for testing isnt fully optimised, and you could certainly do much better, but here it is:
**Insane: 41**
* Damage XXXIII
* Hitpoints XXXVI
**Offensive Skills**
Damage: 16.17k (115)
Attack Speed: 10 MAX
Multishot Chance: 50% MAX
Multishot Targets: 12 MAX
Attack Range: 20m MAX
Impetus: 100% MAX
Rapid Fire Chance: 20% (20)
Rapid Fire Duration: 2s (10)
Bounce Chance: 50% MAX
Bounce Amount: 10 MAX
Bounce Radius: 10 MAX
Lifesteal: 25% (50)
**Defensive Skills**
Hitpoints: 764.46k (171)
Defense (Rel.): 60% (100)
**Ultimate**
Division Shield: 1.9 (9)
**Numbers N' Stuff**
After testing both my and metalheart321's builds i decided to find out how many special resources you get per minute with each build
my build: 625.82k in about 1:32 (0:24 in 4x), giving about 408143.47 special resources a minute (1632573.91 in 4x)
Metalheart321's build: 1.03M in about 13:54 (3:29 in 4x), giving about 74100.71 special resources a minute (296402.87 in 4x)
so basically if you want special resources, attack based builds are alot better, between mine and metalheart321's, about 5.5x better
hope this helps any new players coming to this thread

you can slightly optimise this attack build build by reducing the points you put in rapid fire as it is likeley to be permanently active with just 10% chance reducing lifesteal to 2.5% as you attack so much hitting so many enemies this is enough to fully heal you and by putting more points into division shield instead of defense (rel.) as it provides more damage reduction and against all enemies instead of just white enemies

the one for hard is painfully slow. I used this one and made it far faster to 200+
Build 1 (For Easy through Hard):
Max out the following:
Attack Speed
Critical Chance
Attack Range
Multishot Chance
Multishot Amount
Bounce Chance
Bounce Amount
Then:
10 Points into Rapid Fire Chance
10 Points into Rapid Fire Duration
100 Points into Critical Factor
100 Points into Impetus
180 Points into Damage
185 Points into Newbounds
Bounce Radius up to 4.75 or 5
Build 2 (For Insane)
(first get some aura radius upgrades(probably to X is enough)
100 Points into Division Shield
100 Points into Fortify Chance
75 Points into Electricity Aura
75 Points into Universal Aura
50 Points into Regeneration
Get HP up to at least 2K
Rest of points into Fortify Amount

I don't understand what the challenge mode is? What is the challenge. Am I dumb? What is considered a successful play?

After trying these optimisations i got to wave 43 in insane giving me 1,36e6 eatch time
I also removed the defence (rel) completly and used the points in improving the divition shield as much as possible.

Not only this is working every time I Town Tier, I used Build 1 for all difficulties and it allowed me to beat them all. (all 5 gray cubes in stats)

Sounds good, but what do you mean by "newbounds"?
