When should I Town Tier (TT) the first time? This question gets asked a lot. Many times I hear some answers that boggle my mind. Answers like 15,000+. It's my opinion that this probably isn't the best choice. The first time you Town Tier you only get 5 + (0.088 X Blue Print Tier) Credits. I however, would highly suggest to TT much sooner. These are the following tiers I suggest you should reach before you TT, up to based on how much time you have to play. The more time you have to play, the sooner I would suggest. I believe options 2, 3, or 4 are decent. I would avoid option 1 and am only posting it as an option if you're anxious to TT immedietly. Below are the absolute lowest BPT you can go while obtaining the conversion rate you're aiming for. Shooting an extra 12-45 BPTs isn't a bad idea. Option 1: You will want a BPT 156+. Save 13+ of your Town Credits (TC), you will have a very small Special Resource (SR) boost and when you TT your new conversion rate will be 0.383 or a little more than 6x more than before. Option 2: You will want a BPT 312+. Save 26+ of your TC, it's still going to be a small SR boost, but more than the previous one. Your new conversion rate will be 0.57 or 6x more than before Option 3: You will want a BPT 576+. Save 48+ of your TC, the SR boost at this point should now be just barely noticable. You're new conversion rate will be 0.75 or 9x more than before. Option 4: You will want a BPT 1,020+. Save 85+ of your TC, hopefully you can make a 10%+ SR boost. You're new conversion rate will be 0.93 almost a 1 for 1 BPT to TC conversion rate. Option 5: I won't be posting anything beyond this. If you're willing to spend weeks obtaining 1 TC per 11.5 BPT, have at it. I also won't post anything about when you should tier up a second time. By this point I'm sure you understand the mechanics of TCs, BPTs, and SR Bonus based off TCs.

Terrible advice. The reason people say town tier at 1068 bpt is to have enought town credits to upgrade bpt conversion to 1:1, so the 2nd time you town tier, it will be possile to buy 8x speed.

As for me. First time I choosen 704 BPT level to upgrade TT. I had about 35% income boost, which is quite noticeable, and I had enough time to enjoy the game until I killed cubos second time. Actually when you bought all TT upgrades the interest to the game is disappeared, that's why you should not have too much Town Credits :)
