so, you want to legitemately achieve wave 1 billion through hard work and... a crap ton of waiting. that's what it takes, 2+ months of waiting. depending on your point in the game, you could do it in as little as 2 months or it could take you 6 months if you cant/wont leave the gam running 24/7.
to reach wave 1 billion, you need 3 things. first, patience. it's slow even with the best upgrades. second, you need to be well into blueprint tiers. it take roughly 17000 tiers to reach wave 1 billion with maxed new bounds. not a problem given how much sr you will make grinding that far. 3rd, you need a good build. there are 2 build that i can recomend. the first is what i used on this save to reach 1 billion with x4 as my max speed. it is simple.
all offense BEFORE lifesteal. do not use lifesteal or anything after it.
defense, only reflect (rel). if you are actually thinking about wave 1 billion then you are already well into blueprint tiers, so you should not be fighting same-tier enemies. lower tier enemies cannot hurt you.
utility, just sr and gem upgrades. you can include plain resource upgrades for the newbounds trick with little to no speed degredation, but i wouldnt.
ultimates, just vaporize and newbounds. dont ask why vaporize, this is not my build. it was given to me and i didnt ask questions. it was fast, so i was happy. this build was capable of 1.9e3wpm averaged over 12 hour runs.
second build is for x8 speed and what i currently use on my main account, moron88. i average 1.7e3wpm. you may be able to use this on x4 with equal or greater results compared to the previous build, but i never tested. note, moron88 is not currently at 1 billion but is fast aproching it at an average of 20 million waves a day. this one uses even less:
offense, all before lifesteal EXCEPT rapidfire duration. no point with rapidfire maxed.
no defense at all. again, what's the point when you are effectively imortal?
utility, sr and gem stuff.
ultimates, nothing. i use the newbounds trick and use gems to max it out. i would imagine you could add it with 0 effect to end speed but i cannot tell you for sure.
now, you may be saying to the screen "what the hell am i supposed to do while this is running seemingly endless waves?". the answer is simple, troll chat. and just when they get used to your trolling, behelpful. thus you can be both a troll and a helpful mentor to new players simultaniously! best part is, eventually they will have trouble descerning the difference between help and trolling. at that point, you can get them to believe asinine things with relitive ease! cant tell you how many people i have convinced wave compression IX is fastest or that X is the max.
enjoy your grind to pointless bragging rights!

noob. the real speed comes with wcBP. that's the one that allows you to collapse an entire tier (regardless of new bounds level) into one mofrakin massive cube. problem is, you gotta have 2 million tiers on it to beat it. luckily temple tier 4 unlocks idle tiering (i'm up to 2500 tiers a second. cant wait for 10k tiers a second).

This is a great guide, but WC Z and BP are not easily attainable until you've reached wave 1 billion a few times, and have dumped enough TC into the upgrade unlocked after TT50.
In this account, after beating Cubos 100 times and unlocking WC Y, I noticed a non-negligible increase in SR, after applying the Modigliani-Miller theorem (using the gambling skills as cost of debt, and interest as cost of equity) to my build, and optimizing the tower's ranged DPS versus its defensive upgrades, according to Galileo's sharpshooter formula, which O'Sullivan improved the 14th of July of last year.
With this, I am currently sitting at 3~4 tiers per second, which should increase as soon as I can tier my town for the 50th time, and unlock WC Z.

So has no one else but me unlocked the ability to jump straight to wave 2 billion after beating Cubos 1,337 times? Too bad!

dmg, crit, and impetus should be useless if u can oneshot enemies .. but great guide nontheless .. im still at wave 5M .. but i guess this could onlyhelp

med, they should be useless but they arent. my best guess is that it's all about processing. by maxing out damage there's less "kill/not kill" calculations and also fewer instances of multiple shots at 1 enemy. this is the same reason you dont want any defense, it's easier to determine a lethal shot. as far as i can tell, the tier diferential is factored in last.

@moron88: How were you able to run your game that long (more than 12 hours in real time)? Mine kept being interrupted by WebGL every 3 hours or so.
