First, the article should be called "How we make the game stay fun for ourselves"! Hause of Mages is a very close-knit, fun and lovers of Storm Wars crew ( I call us a team, because we are very good friends who care about how we do and we help the others at all times). Our discord channel is loaded with decks, explanations of cards, heros, match-ups, synergy..my QMs pick the good smart battles and we play ti win. I introduced the "Hause of Fame" acheivents.. we do a new contest every week (i.e. best -score agasint an enemy hero, highest attack number on a "drain" or "rage" unit, highest arena score, best win % and many more..the winner gets a plaque with his name displayed in the "Hause Hall of Fame! This encourages more team work, fun competition, and also helps us reach goals. I always set my team a challenge: Set yourself one goal, regardless of what it is ( arena score, wins in crewbattles, coliseum wins, making an L unit, and many others) and acheive that goal, just once a week! The key to remaining so loyal and so excited for the game IS how we coordinate our attacks, snipes, the chats in discord and sharing game experiences keep things close and the comunication we have is really the reason that I do love this team as much as I do, I try to stock the discord channel with useful factoids and information..feature channels like "Card of the Week", "Elder Dragons", " Hero vs Hero", "equipment breakdowns" and many, many more. Anyone wanting toknowmore or other captains interted just mail me in game or look me up on discord **Nickcs#0317**...I m not hard to find and always happy to discuss game mechanics, things my team does and what ever else! WE all participate in LIVE deck-building for allof us that use Discord, we advise eachother on goals to choose from and acheive, we always have each others backs and know eachother well, and that makes all the difference in the World! We work in that Discord channel ervery day, the end of every team season, I mail the team their indivisual statistics for that season...total battles, % of wins, over all record and we have a channel in Discord where I place everyones total battle numbers, the teams total battles, wins losses and season winning %...everyone likes having their stats and seeing the discord boardof how everyone else is doing as well and it encourages friendly competition beteeen members public nprivate...I dont force requirements on my guys, I trust that their competitive spirit, love of the game and personal prde to drive them to: log in daily, do their crew battles at the very least..everything else beyond that just goes to help that individual member! Ther s=areno mandatory glows, battles per season, and I do reinterate participation..no vare of win-loss ratio...poarticipoate, participatem participate!
