Thanks Storm. Obviously we’re all thrilled with the new cards. I do think that the new mechanics are great. Maybe the two constructive feedback points are that nomenclature is a bit confusing in places and that a lot of the multi-targeting new skills, like Explode or Bombard, or any dragon skill, are much stronger compared to the standard set equivalents (zap, burn, etc), and maybe need to be dialed back so it doesn’t automatically become Dragon set \> Standard set.

who cares, mad bomber is a crappy card to compare anything to, not all cards can be top quality and have tons of potential, some cards are just not desirable and weak, trying to make every single card have a meaningful purpose is never going to work. For new cards to have any purpose they msut surpass the previous slightly and some will surpass previous crappy cards by a lot you just need to play the game or support it financialy and gain the better cards for your collection.

Yeay, thanks stormwars! new campaign areas will be much awesome addition to a very good game!
I would like to suggest slowing down on rolling out new cards tho take a rest that you deserve, I have never EVER seen so many updates on a daily basis and often times multiple updates a day, sometimes within a few hours of each other. Need time to take it all in and adjust and the developer must rest for fear of getting burnt out!.
Also, I find it hard to keep track of my collection and keep tack of cards i would like to acquire when they change so very often. By the time I earn or purchase a card that i had my eye on, it has stats changed or other cards released that bust my previous motives for wanting to acquire this card
:( im sure this will not be very popular comment but it is my feeling.
oh, and i noticed some times that haste does not do what it is supposed to do but I can not really explain it and it does not happen all the time, sorry, but i just cant explain it but haste does not work as it should 100% of the time.

Awesome update! Couple outstanding things:
1. In Coliseum when you see the opponent in the left pane before you fight him, it shows the Hero’s current level; but then the actual battle takes place against a Hero that matches your own level — can be confusing because it is not uncommon to pick a low-level Hero hoping to get an advantage, which then doesn’t exist once you start the fight.
2. The Gauntlet panel and interface should be removed from the Arena as it’s confusing / distracting for new players (obviously I’m sure you guys realize this and it’s a matter of having the time to implement). Also there are achievements for Gauntlet wins that should be changed to Coliseum wins (and tracked as such).
3. Corroded doesn’t seem to work as I expected for my Purple Drake. It will Corrode something, then Intimidate it, and it looks like the intimidation is removing the corrosion so that the enemy never loses a skill. Seems maybe to be the case against enemies who have Hasten? It failed a few times against Expediter and I believe also against Alara. This is tricky to pin down because it does work against some enemies (I’ve seen it work repeatedly against Odysseus). Possible other theory: Corroded could be trying to remove the “intimidated” trait itself …
4. Gibberling Imp should get a +1 life buff to differentiate him from Skirmisher. Balance works better too (he’s U).
5. Messages coming from Zom.bio (you guys) especially are confusing. If awarded Gems in a message, the Gems hit the account when you open the message screen and not the individual message (or when you close it). Pretty much every time I have to do a double-take to know whether I received the Gems it describes, just because I’m not expecting it until after noticing the message. Also I might change the term to messages from “events” …

Agree with Z\_Y here; the dragon hunter is a hard counter against dragons. And it’s rare instead of epic or legendary, so players should accumulate enough to deal with too many dragons in the future.
I agree with the last page post about meks needing easier healing. I have 1 liaric and she NEVER heals the meks when I’m on the field vs having myrrhine and automatically 3 medics plus the other faction healers that you can draw like shamans and chirugeons. And with machines being in factions besides dark elves now, there really needs to be more widespread use of repair to make meks the powerhouses they have the potential to be.
And great job on the expansion storm! One suggestion: make the dragon pack have at little higher minimum drop (not an epic because of the cost, but maybe 2 rares or perhaps have a higher cost dragon pack with better minimum drops?) It seems like I’m not even drawing all the commons at the lower tier, but I have a small sample size so it could be a non-issue.

expansion starts from uc.. I get 1 r 4 uc 75% of the time.

3. When inspecting cards maybe just below the card an indication of the set it derives from (Exclusive, Standard, Dragons) would be nice!
4. Suggestion: Make Detect (Sentry Mek’s skill) also able to remove Explode and Trap from a random enemy each turn. Will make it actually useful (Stealth is way too specific and not even that useful to remove). So Detect becomes like a “disarm trap” type skill. Helps (very slightly) nerf Explode which continues to be one of the strongest skills usable by non-rare cards.
5. Suggestion: Change Arena Rank level to Fame level. Better word to avoid confusion / conflation.
6. Suggestion: Targeting of friendly skills is confusing. A healer heals “The most damaged friendly unit” and buffers buff “A random friendly unit” but friendly can include self in the first case and not in the second. Then “All friendly units” for Kindralt and Painter also seem to target self. Suggestion would be to use two different words. “Ally” would mean friend but not self and “Friendly” would include self. So healers would continue to heal the most damaged _friendly_ unit and buffers (Alastair, Poet, Singer, etc) would buff “A random allied unit.”
7. Balance suggestion: Buff Repair to heal for 3 on a machine. Liaric is the worst epic right now and machines are big and slow so they need tanky support too. Just a thought.
8. Shop item Large Exp Potion – change text to say “Each gives 2500 exp” so it doesn’t seem like the whole pile does.

Right now it only has one gift card in it, Kongon Betar. The gift given to beta testers. I imagine it could end up including things like holiday gifts and such.

Due to dragon hunter, almost none of the top 15 decks use more than 2-4 dragons/eggs per deck.
regarding turning dragons into eggs, I think we already have something similar yet more powerful and versatile.

One more thing, all the constructors but the new one have ‘hasten’. I’m not sure if that’s because they’re high-level expediters but if not, then the new one should have hasten also. Or maybe a new title designation?

My interpretation is that “constructor” is a high title for a dark elf in general and that all of them are good at managing machines.

About heroes… isn’t anasi a bit weak compared to other popular hereos?
I mean, if you compare him with gorm, she has the same average damage without incinerate, and burn is similar to poison… the differences are:
1- Gorm’s attack is magic and anasi’s isn’t, but that doesn’t really make one better than the other, does it? i guess magic shields are more common than wind shields, but with the expansion card we can give wind shield to a whole team anyway…
2- Gorm can, however, incinerate targets, doubling her damage. Anasi can’t do anything of that sort…
Unfortunately he doesn’t even seem to compensate his lower attack strenght with stats, which are pretty low too…
Maybe i didn’t think about it very much, but isn’t anasi basically a downgraded version of gorm?

Ziovi compared Anasi vs Gorm and i want to pinpoint Anasi vs Sidalis if Ziovi hasnt posted it already
at level 3
Sidalis by last patch hits 3 targets with 2-3 magic
Anasi hits 2 targets 1-3( not sure magic or physical)
only diffenece is Anasi poisons and more health
i asked Ziovi and he confirmed my idea that Sidalis seems better.
May be Anasi needs a buff- she is not very popular????

You guys need to replace Rampanging Saurian on the campaing quest now that he is an epic, new players are going to have a hard time trying to beat them.

Perhaps Anasi should have “Poison Cloud” which hits ALL enemies for 1 and poisons them. It would be a completely different mechanic from other Heroes, and the average damage would be similar.

Broodmother needs 2 less countdowns to work as intended, waiting 7 turns for her +2 for an Spiderling that can turn into a common is not good.

I disagree; Brood Mother summons every turn, like Aznik, and 7 countdown is reasonably fast considering her board presence. In practice I think she’s the best of the three summoners, in fact (the third being Elren).

What’s the point of a board presence that does nothing? Meat shields? They all die before evolving and when they acutally evolve it’s a common. My problem is most with the Spiderlings, they should evolve, not downgrade, no point in waiting 9 turns for a common.

i think a good way to even up the matches, but not get to op to where you wanna go second every time, is to make the first card the second player draws cost 1 less than its normal, so youre on the same track as the first, this is just one idea ofc.
