Electrocute is wasted when another electrocute kills a unit before it. (E.g. both electrocutes activate even when a unit would die to 1).

Healing ray should not trigger when there is nothing to heal. Prime example is when Rays is on hold and three units come in to play at the same time, healing rays immediately triggers doing nothing. It should only trigger when there is at least one point that actually needs to be healed.

The same is true for two Bounces, or a combination of Electrocute/Bounce.

I’m getting the bug where your arena respawns some or all the previous set.
Also is drench supposed to hit twice? It seems to do more than 1 damage when water elemental and water mage attack. It might not be doing this, but burst damage like drench and blast seem to be hitting really hard this patch.

It would also be nice if bloodbath could check to see if there were 3 basic attack units. That might make it overpowered, but it would be a nice feature to avoid wasting it.

One odd behavior of Manavore / all-ally abilities: When a creature has an ability that gives all allies a magical ability, for example Greater Wind Shield, the Manavore may target a random opponent with a temporary Wind Shield. It will wipe the one Wind Shield as normal. As of that point in the battle the creature that was wiped will not receive a new copy of Wind Shield. I would have expected a new copy to be reinstated at the start of the next round, ostensibly arising from the Painter re-applying it.

Yes.
But i think, despite it a waste of spell, this situation wisely restricts the usage of spells by player. The best tactic, for example, for Amariel is to use deck as spell’s support when she throws elementals directly into a battlefield each other turn. How you can beat Amariel if all spells will be used with the best efficiency? And what to do with the spell’s mechanics? While devs obviously may do all necessary checks for all spells, i think that there must be just simple common rule, like “no more than one spell per round may be activated”. At least for spells like “Dream Dust” – there is no reason to paralize enemies twice per turn.
For “healing ray” i expect additional effect – it may not only heal cards, but give an additional (but only once) “heal” skill to the player’s hero (until the end of the battle). That’s much better, because many players may say that when “healing ray” restores just 1 HP it still a waste of spell.
About other Coliseum bug, i noticed:
Even when Coliseum is in progress the Odysseus welcome message may appear (if player relogins, for example). There is no reason to show that message, because player saw it before he/she enters the games.

several people have mentioned this bug in chat so i figured i put it in here too. when you toggle the “disable defeat skull” or “disable flashing efx” option it puts you in full screen mode if you are not already in it, and takes you out of full screen mode if you are in it.

(ver. 1.38) The Bounce/Electrocute bug is still there.
When the opponent has only one card and you can play both Bounce and Electrocute, the game plays both. However, the opponent card is first Bounced, and then Electrocute has nothing to target. This results in my Electrocute doing absolutely nothing.

when i get my reward from the coliseum it replace my actual gem value by the value of gem winned in coliseum instead of adding to it :(

i had a black dragon egg guarded by a night hag. when the egg evolved, the night hag added a guard to the black whelp but did not remove the guard from the egg, so the whelp was double guarded. not sure if this was just a visual bug or if it is actually guarded twice.

I’m getting a ‘Please login to Kongregate to play Storm Wars’ prompt.

Not sure if this is a bug or of it’s intended but when an explosive trap unit retaliates and say kills an opposing unit adjacent to the unit that set off the trap, that adjacent unit with negative or 0 health can still attack or activate its skills during that turn.
This seems a bit weird, no?

When a wolf loses wolfpack to corrosion, other wolves are immediately debuffed even though new wolves will still get a buff for the corroded wolf. When the corroded wolf dies, the other wolves get debuffed again for a potential permanent -1 net attack.

Night Hag is guarding card on either side of it, but the card to its right dies. The next card over (Treespeaker) to the right slides down next to the hag but does not get guarded. I waited several turns to see if it just needed to wait till the beginning/ end of a round, but it never received the guarded status.

If a new card is entered into play and appears on the right of the hag, it does receive the buff, but if the card was already in play and moves down next to the hag it does not.

Noticed that Clom’s “Absorb Soul” skill removes stealth and drains life at the same hit. As i know, stealth have to protect from skill’s effect.

When my internet blips as I’m loading Arena, the below happens:

And I can’t figure out any way to fix it except to wait beyond the 12-minute window. As my internet connection likes to be spotty, this is an issue for me being able to play Arena.

when leaving the arena while looking at the rankings and then coming back to the arena, the arena chest countdown has vanished. leaving while looking at the main tab (so, facing the opponents) and comming back turns it back on again

@Lord Carl, still trying to track down the skull bug, not sure what triggers it and I haven’t been able to replicate it myself.
@10coconnell, that’s just how the game resolves battles so there are no ties.
@achamel, I think this should be fixed after yesterday’s patch.
For those of you posting about spell logic, I understand there is some frustration with spells not always being used to their maximum effect, but at the same time it will be very challenging to put special logic in every spell. I’ll put it on the list, but at the moment I’m focused on getting guilds working so it will probably be awhile before I can get to it.
Re – full screen when toggling skull or efx off, will be fixed in next patch.
@handlethief, will look into it.
@prenom001 are you positive this happened? Nobody else has complained of this and everyone plays Coliseum just about every day.
@10coconnell, will look into it.
@askari, were you finally able to play or are you stuck at the prompt? If you were able to play, what was the solution?

I clicked on “Battle Now!” just to see what happens lol. I didn’t lost 400 Crowns, actually it didn’t even let me fight with the white screen. xD The “Battle now!” was basically unusable, i clicked on it many times, nothing.
**It happend after i finished many Arena fights. I’m still using Google Chrome and a simple refresh solved this problem too.**

So I just reset my coliseum and I got my reward of 18 gems or whatever it was. So I reset it and I get given the prize for first place. Hopefully I didn’t accidentally exploit the system…
EDIT: So I guess I got rolled back? Feels like I’ve wasted a fair bit of time today..
